There is more than enough public information to confidently assess Governor Ron Desantis's character, intentions, and his approach to governance.
The press is treating him like an ordinary candidate, when he is anything but.
DeSantis is a small, thin-skinned demagogue who has shown nothing but contempt for democratic norms and the lives of Floridians.
If he was ever elected president, he would use the federal government as a blunt force object against perceived enemies.
He engages in the most destructive acts of performative sadism just to appeal to the worst among us.
DeSantis would bring ruin to this nation.

Walgreens’ corporate cowardice is unconscionable—a dangerous disservice to women’s health care. It’s likely to be a net money loser in the long run & cost steeply in credibility & brand value. It’s putting profits over people. Like many others, I’ll shop elsewhere.
