People need to leave Chris and other Sega staff alone. These are real people.
There is 0 reason anyone should be harassing them for a character bio. They are doing their best, and the removal of something in some text doesn’t change a character entirely.
Everyone knows Amy loves Sonic. She will ALWAYS love Sonic. Fans of the franchise know that and there’s no indication that will change just because it doesn’t say it in her character bio. Don’t allow something like this to hinder your love for a character or make you upset. 🩷

Happy November! This month might be the time we could be finally getting the #SonicMovie4 trailer since it will be 4 months until the movie’s release date. I have a feeling we might be getting it a few days before Thanksgiving. I guess we will see about this soon.

I feel like I'm in the minority here but I like the concept of characters evolving. I don't enjoy shadow for example solely for his ties to maria nor team dark. I actually dislike characters being stuck. It's one of sonics biggest issues in regards to character writing.

Those who ship a pairing yet can't accept the changes of the characters individually is not a real shipper. Why? If you truly love a ship, you have to love them individually

She doesn’t need to chase after Sonic because he stopped running away.
So, really, the only people upset about this are people who only see Amy through the lense of her relationship with Sonic, rather than as her own character, which is just… wrong.
SEGA removes Amy Rose's romantic feelings for Sonic from her Japanese character profile!
The official Japanese #Sonic Channel has updated Amy Rose's biography, removing all explicit references to her longtime crush on Sonic.
Her previous profile described her as a girl in love with Sonic who constantly chased him and even called herself his girlfriend, a character trait associated with Amy since her debut in 1993.
The new description takes a different approach, presenting her as an energetic, positive and courageous hedgehog who leads her friends and never backs down when they're in danger. It also highlights her Piko Piko Hammer and dedication to self-improvement.
Interestingly, Sonic is no longer mentioned anywhere in her main character description. The change has sparked discussion among fans, especially given how closely Amy's feelings for Sonic have been associated with her character for decades.
SEGA has not provided an official explanation for the rewrite.

Amy shouldn't be known as "just sonics lover"
Theres so much more to her character and calling her "woke" because sonic isn't mentioned in her Bio anymore just shows you don't really care about her as a character.

Those Amy “fans” literally view Amy though her relationship with Sonic and ignore everything else, then get mad at SEGA for highlighting the “everything else” part.
It’s why Amy is in my Top 5 favorites in this franchise and yet I barely talk about her. DO BETTER.
