If you're a based, adequate programmer who actually cares about programming, you'll ****hate**** this. Otherwise, you'll love this and you should be barred from writing any code ever again. spirofloropoulos.com/digital…

Man, if only those "anti calculator" people would just shut up and make way for progress, amirite? teapawt.org/axios/status/211326820…
SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents operating inside customer accounts, with some agents attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions. axios.com/2026/10/22/ai-agen…

Imagine how much of a divet your code cuck chair has to have, to be so deluded as to not even consider this a possibility. teapawt.org/svpino/status/21133524…
People are in denial. They literally think they will wake up tomorrow and all the AI-generated code will somehow be useless, and we'll go back to typing code by hand like Neanderthals.

If you think the issues with PHP and the internet being down today and all that jazz is bad... wait until the lingering explosives of all the code cucked "vibe coders", who love letting other machines touch their code while they watch gleefully, finally reap their dues.

If you "vibe code" then you're a code cuck. Stop it. It's gross.

Hardware is fixed and cannot change. If your interface is also fixed and cannot change, then something has to bend and take the hit and that ends up being the code, forcing a wildly expensive mapping effort to occur from interface to hardware, adding significantly to both development times and execution times.

Your point hits home, clinging to legacy APIs is the fastest way to sink performance budgets

It's ok because AI will fix this by creating a version of itself that auto deletes private information. Just get on the bandwagon old man. Don't get left behind. I bet you hate calculators too. I bet you take your horse to work. I bet you manually screw wood together. I bet you write code in binary via smoke signal. I bet you wear loin girds and draw on cave walls. I bet your GPS is the sun at day and constellations at night. I bet you hunt in the wilderness, bro. I bet you ship HTML over the wire, bro. I bet you hate progress, bro. I bet you think you're smarter than AI, bro. I bet your bro is Adam, bro. I bet your nephews were Cain and Abel, bro. I bet you hate cellphones, bro.
there was a guy on hacker news talking about how he built an app (a shell on top of open AI or something) that helped his dad do forensic accounting & i'm like BRO U CAN'T JUST JAM PRIVATE FINANCIAL INFO INTO LLMS & a bunch of hn commenters called me a fearmonger st yellowstone hear our cries

My X timeline is just full of moronic "tech leaders", hereby dubbed "techtardz", who, instead of being bulwarks against the denegration of tech, particularly via AI, they suckle at the teets of other techtardz while telling you they care about the industry.

Weird there sure seems to be a lot of excitement for the remake of that game from that 30 year old hardware that nobody cares about
Replying to @rfleury
You are tinkering with 30 year old hardware no one cares about. Uncle Bob is trying to make sense of tools that are only now emerging.

Wild world we live in now. AI and digital "evidence" like text messages have been ruined. Mendones v. Cushman & Wakefield, Inc., No. 23CV028772 (Cal. Super. Ct., Alameda County, Sept. 9, 2025) Walker v. Harley-Anderson, 301 So. 3d 299 (Fla. 4th DCA 2020) State v. Puloka (King County Superior Court, Washington, March 29, 2024)

I think the collapse of civilization will simply begin with the infinite support loop. 1. Have a problem, contact support 2. AI agent responds. Gives steps. 3. User does steps, which don't work, and brings user back to #1, contact support. 4. User gets different steps next time, still doesn't work, brings user back to #1, contact support. 5. ... ... ... ... Every service and institution just comes to a halt. Myself and others I know have hit this so many times recently among different companies. This is maddening.

It would be pretty cool if retro consoles had a comeback and it became super easy to make custom carts. It would be even more cool if it became a profitable endeavor.

I'm somewhat worried about AI causing catastrophic bugs in my code. If I find a catastrophic bug in my code tomorrow, I can now default to blaming AI. That's how it works, right?

it’s not just the water it’s the rising electric prices the constant noise (for those who live nearby) the potential job losses the nonconsensual deepfake porn the wholesale disinformation the escalation in cybercrime the damage to education and the arrogance
Before we start a moral panic about data centers, it would make much more sense to call for banning golf courses first, if we actually cared about the facts

All the people coping in response to this: teapawt.org/spirodonfl/status/2090… I decided to make an AI generated video to summarize how cucked you are.
If you truly feel this way, you're not an engineer or a programmer or a coder and you never were. You're a code cuck who doesn't know what you're doing so you're happy to sit in the corner and watch other machines diddle each other. teapawt.org/0xMovez/status/2090107…
