I voted for Kamala Harris. Yes, I want to support women’s rights. But I also want to live in a world where hate speech, xenophobia, and racism are put behind us. Sending every one of you a tidal wave of hope for a better future. Let's all prioritize mental health this week. ❤️

Under Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, overall prices are UP 20%. Reminder: Kamala Harris said there’s ‘not a thing’ she’d change from President Biden’s term in office.

Hey Azure-using friends! @bvanvugt and I are looking for folks who use Azure to run their business to give us feedback on a new integration – should only take about 30 minutes, and you get to see some shiny new @neondatabase features in the process. Reply or DM if interested.

Remember when Nintendo wasn’t doing so well off the back of Wii U and 3DS launch, and in order to prevent layoffs the then-CEO Saturo Iwata took a 50% pay cut. That’s leadership.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella is getting a pay raise of $30 million. The news comes after the company laid off over 2,500 employees from the gaming division since January 2024 along with the closures of Arkane Austin and Tango Gameworks. For more info: bit.ly/4hk4SvK

Replying to @trusktr @reactjs
I know there is a really large group of people who want to pretend otherwise but React has completely collapsed on itself in terms of complexity and technical debt. It’s time to start looking for the exits, it’s very clearly not the future at this point.

Happy Indigenous Peoples Day! Just a reminder that Native Americans are not a historical people, that we are still here, and that the biggest injustice in U.S. history—the dispossession of land from Indigenous nations largely by fraudulent treaties—remains ongoing

The horrors unfolding in northern Gaza are the result of a completely unrestrained Netanyahu gov, fully armed by the Biden admin while food aid is blocked and patients are bombed in hospitals. This is a genocide of Palestinians. The US must stop enabling it. Arms embargo now.
