1. Start by selecting the GPT 5 Thinking model. Select a paper you have engaged with in your work. Upload it to ChatGPT and ask it to understand the paper. It doesn't have to do anything other than that.

The Government of Sudan has just sent a 6 page letter to the UN Security Council (and 50+ page annex) presenting their evidence that the UAE has been hiring and deploying Colombian mercenaries to fight for the RSF. It's a very complete and convincing dossier.

US gold thefts: 1999 Yugoslavia 2001 Afghanistan 2003 Iraq 2011 Libya 2014 Ukraine (with Yatsenyuk’s complicity) 2019 Venezuela (Bank of England expropriation at US request) 2022 Kazakhstan (failed attempted coup foiled the theft) 2023 Argentina (with Meilei’s complicity) “The report says that about 40 tons of gold was flown from Ukraine to US. However, according to the World Gold Council, Ukraine has in store 36 tons of gold reserves. Gold reserves in 40 sealed boxes loaded on an aircraft which remains unidentified was reported to be transferred last night from the Bristol airport. Witnesses say the [aircraft] took off immediately after loading the boxes. According to reliable source from the Govt. of Ukraine, the transferring of gold was ordered by the acting Prime Minister of the country, Mr. Arseny Yatsenyuk. The new acting PM was replaced by the President of Ukraine who was ousted by U.S. Assistant Secretary of State, Victoria Nuland.”

Venezuela is on the menu for its oil - and its gold reserves. As the world dedollarises, gold returns as a store of value and backstop to currencies. US might not have as much gold as claimed, weakening dollar appeal. Venezuelan gold could speed up the date of a Fort Knox audit, supplementing the gold stolen earlier in Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya. The oil will take time to bring online, monetise. The gold can be stolen immediately.
The reason Venezuela is on the menu

🇳🇴Norway’s sovereign wealth fund sold its holdings in 11 Israeli companies. The Government Pension Fund Global, managed by Norges Bank Investment Management, recently divested from 11 Israeli companies. The fund, which held investments in 61 Israeli firms as of June 30, 2025, sold those shares citing the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the West Bank and the need for stronger ethical oversight and due diligence. The fund also ended all contracts with external Israeli asset managers and moved remaining Israeli investments in-house.

Annual AIPAC-led trip of freshmen Dems to Israel departing this week. In the middle of the unfolding genocide in Gaza and American’s shift in opinion as a result of it, no member of Congress should entertain the possibility of a trip like this. aaiusa.org/action/no-aipac-v…

It’s 2 weeks since we found Jho Low living in luxury in Shanghai. Has @anwaribrahim made a request to China’s government for his return? Here’s what Jho Low cost Malaysia. His personal take was $2.5 billion. It’s as if he stole $70 (300 ringgit) from every single Malaysian!

One of the fundamental victories of the decolonization process was the recognition that self-determination is a right of immediate realization. The idea that Palestinian self-determination needs to wait until Israel is satisfied belongs in a different century
A two-state solution is needed. However, we still see recognition of a Palestinian state towards the end of a negotiation process, which must begin now. @AussenMinDe

@AlexNantaLinggi -This isn’t just about deferring toll hikes - it’s a recurring subsidy to private & GLC-owned concessionaires to maintain public affordability without renegotiating the lopsided deals. Question- Why do taxpayers have to continuously fund private profits? Many of these highways (e.g. MEX, LDP, Kesas) are- Already profitable, Enjoyed guaranteed IRR of 12–18%, & have long surpassed breakeven. - Hidden Cost to the Rakyat- This RM569 million could’ve funded- -5,690 houses under PPR (RM100,000/unit), -10 new rural clinics (RM50m each), -A full digitalisation program for 200 government schools. Reform Shift- - Audit all 10 concession agreements - make terms public - Prioritise buybacks for matured highways using sukuk backed by traffic cash flow - Cap annual profits, scrap traffic volume guarantees - Shift to ALR-style public trust model where profit is not the goal RM569 million is not "aid"- it’s compensation for profit delay, paid by the Rakyat, to preserve unjust concession terms. Real reform means renegotiating deals, not delaying hikes & shifting the burden silently to public funds.

One of the greatest linguistic miracles of the Quran is that there isn’t a single word that you could point to, that you could change to improve the conciseness or rhythm. Not one. Lets look at the first verse from the smallest Surah, Al Kawthar for example.

إِنَّا (Indeed We) The use of إِنَّا (Indeed We) serves two powerful functions: إِنَّ: adds emphasis and certainty. نَا: the plural pronoun of majesty, indicating divine power. There is no simpler or shorter phrase could convey divine authority and certainty as compactly.

It's pure Islamophobia. They don't want a strong and competent Muslim nation to exist as a peer competitor. I honestly sense that Putin is compromised by his own prejudices and Christian hostility towards Islam. A echo of historic rivalries possibly.

Donald Trump, a weak and dangerously reckless president, has put the United States on a path to a war in the Middle East that the country does not want, the law does not allow, and our security does not demand. Our president knows nothing about history. And history tells us that the United States' hubris about the efficacy of military action in the Middle East is almost universally wrong. Trump has been goaded into these strikes by the perpetual cheerleaders of war in the Middle East - the people who know how to start conflicts there but never know how to end them, and the people who profit - politically and financially - from endless war. I've been briefed on the intelligence - there is no evidence Iran posed an imminent threat to the United States. That makes this attack illegal. Only Congress can declare preemptive war, and we should vote as soon as possible on legislation to explicitly deny President Trump the authorization to drag us into a conflict in Middle East that could get countless Americans killed and waste trillions of dollars. All my thoughts tonight are for the safety of our personnel in the region.
