So, let me flag a few things, traitor.
1. "European security architecture" is a phrase the Kremlin uses. We already have one: it's called NATO.
2. You conflate (as you always do) the victim of this war with the aggressor. The aggressor is Russia.
3. "Root causes" is Russian for "do it our way" and you know it.
4. Nothing a word about Russian withdrawal, the occupied territories, POWs or deported children. Weird.
5. Lavrov wrote this for you.
6. Fuck Putin, fuck Russia, and fuck you.
President Trump today advanced an important discussion with several European leaders about the need for a broader European security architecture that can help establish the conditions for lasting peace.
Building on his leadership and the substantive work undertaken this week in Brussels with Ukraine, NATO, and our European partners, @SEPeaceMissions and I wanted to share some of the objectives guiding our ongoing discussions.
For more than 30 years, Europe and Russia have struggled to establish a sustainable security framework. Decades of mistrust, competing security concerns, and the devastating consequences of this war make this an extraordinarily difficult challenge, but one that is essential to lasting peace.
Our objective is to develop practical arrangements that address the security concerns of all sides, reduce the risk of future conflict, and create a more stable and predictable security environment.
We are exploring five principal goals: permanent security consultations, reliable crisis communications, greater military transparency, reciprocal measures to reduce escalation risks, and an enduring framework for long-term European security and stability.
Any arrangements must fully respect the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independent decision-making of every nation. Each country will retain authority over its own security and alliances, and no country would have a veto over another’s sovereign choices. NATO will remain central to European collective defense, and this initiative would build upon existing institutions and commitments.
We will continue consultations through the Shell Bay format with Ukraine, NATO, the EU, and our European partners, expanding engagement to ensure that all relevant perspectives and ideas are considered. We will also engage Russia as part of the peace negotiations.
Next week in Abu Dhabi, the United States will convene the first trilateral peace discussions with Ukraine and Russia since February. All parties remain intensely engaged in preparing for substantive and productive negotiations. We will consult closely with our European partners on the sidelines and, if progress is made, aim to move toward a broader multilateral format with their direct participation.
These ideas continue to evolve, and we welcome thoughtful input. Creating the right structure will be critical to ending this war and transitioning from conflict toward conditions that make possible a durable peace.
This is difficult, detailed work. There are no easy solutions. But the opportunity to help end this devastating war and build a foundation for a more peaceful, secure, and prosperous Europe for generations to come makes it a challenge well worth undertaking.
We will see how these discussions develop and continue working intensively with all parties toward President Trump’s objective of a comprehensive and lasting peace.

Detective Superintendent Andy Furphy says Russell Brand used his “influence, status and fame” to “prey on and exploit” women.
His comments come after the comedian was found guilty of one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault.
Speaking outside Southwark Crown Court, he says the verdict is a testament to the “extraordinary courage, resilience and determination of the women who came forward".
Brand was found not guilty of raping a woman he met at a 1999 Labour Party conference event, of orally raping a woman in a toilet at a bar in London, and of attempting to indecently assault another MTV worker in 2001.
Brand, who denied all seven charges, is due to be sentenced on Monday.

After the US midterms, one Russian paper this morning: “The main reason for the Republicans’ failure is clear – and its name is Trump.” Another: “Most voters are tired of Trump’s political shows…tired of being deceived, tired of being told ‘sugar’, but it doesn’t taste any sweeter.’ #ReadingRussia

For the MAGA shidiots in the back… some facts:
No, Trump didn’t “get” Greenland.
Denmark didn’t “give” us Greenland.
We’re never going to “have” Greenland, much like how we don’t “have” Venezuela or “have” control over the Strait of Hormuz.
He didn’t “solve inflation” and the war he started 8 months ago, that isn’t a war, isn’t “won”.
Gas prices aren’t lower than they were when Biden left office and neither is diesel.
We’re not the “hottest country” in the world.
This isn’t the “Golden Age”.
We aren’t “respected again”. We are a global laughing stock, and at this point most people in other countries just want to know if we’re ok.
Affordability isn’t a “hoax”, data centers aren’t popular, vaccines and Tylenol don’t “cause” autism and the Epstein files, much like the creepy ass birthday card Trump sent his best friend Jeff, are very, very real.
It’s still Lake Ontario, it’s still the Gulf of Mexico, and it’s still very fucking much, called AI.
He doesn’t have a “healthcare plan”, you’re not getting your Doge check, your tariff check or your $5,000.
The ballroom you’ll never see and the golf course you’ll never use aren’t “free”.
The reflecting pool wasn’t “vandalized”, January 6th wasn’t “peaceful”, and the 2020 election wasn’t “stolen”.
No one is changing your child’s gender at school, no one is eating your cats or your dogs, and no one is coming here from Africa or anywhere else for that matter, to steal your shitty minimum wage job.
Mexico and Canada aren’t our enemies, and Russia and China are not our friends.
Losing your Medicaid, your SNAP, and your healthcare plan isn’t “winning” and it sure as shit doesn’t “own the Libs”.
The word “dumb” has always had a B in it, and the word “incumbent” has nothing to do with something you might have worn to your prom.
Now, I know that facts are about as useful to you as a cousin-less dating pool, a sheep that’s not in the mood, and a book with no pictures, but that doesn’t make them any less true.
You’re poorer, sicker and less safe than you were 2 years ago.
Trump didn’t make America “great” again, he’s actively destroying it, while lining his own pockets, and the pockets of the Epstein class at the very same time.
Now I know that he still hates who you hate, and maybe that really is enough, but the truth is that he lied to you about everything else.
He lied about lowering prices, lied to you about no new foreign wars and lied about accountability for pedophiles.
And I’m sure you stopped reading when you met the first word with more than two syllables, but in the event that you’re still here, all I want, all I ask, is that you sit this one out.
If you’re not going to vote to stop him, then don’t vote at all.
Stay home and brush your tooth.
Let the grownups with still firing synapses handle this one.
I think we can all agree that you’ve done more than enough.

We got your back, New York!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Several figures here aren’t federal results or NY-specific. The $472B combines US wide pledges: Micron's $250B is nationwide (NY site $100B) Anthropic's $50B covers TX and NY. The 48% murder drop is from NY's state run GIVE program (28 departments, Jan – May 2026).

I am afraid that @KathrynPorter26 is unable to tell the truth about energy and climate. Balancing costs add about £3 per month to the average electricity bill. The payments to stop wind farm generation is a direct result of inadequate investment in the grid.
Replying to @ret_ward
This shows how little you understand because subsidies are still higher and then you have the renewables driven network costs on top
A weather based system is never going to be cheap and given the massive balancing costs all week it's insulting green lobbyists like you try to claim otherwise

The real horror of Halloween.
Artificial cobweb: a bit of fake fun for you, but a very real and terrifying death for them.
If you see your neighbours using it, it's possible they don't know the danger so please print out this simple leaflet and pop it through their door:
tinyurl.com/HalloweenHedgeho…
The fine, strong synthetic fibres of this lethal 'web' are difficult for animals to see at dusk and can quickly wrap around their legs, wings, and neck, trapping and killing birds, insects and mammals.
When Eden the hedgehog struggled to free herself the web tightened, cutting off circulation and causing deep wounds.
Can you imagine the pain and sheer terror?
And then seeing dawn approach, while hanging there, tightly bound and helpless, only an inch above the ground but suffering slow strangulation.
Aside from being stressed, dehydrated, starving and exhausted, she also had horrific bite/peck wounds to her face, where she had been held there, helpless, unable to curl and defend herself, while a predator tried to eat her alive.
Tragically her constriction injuries were too severe to survive, and poor Eden had to be put to sleep.
If you have used this deadly cruel trap to 'decorate' your garden, I beg you - take it down now.
Please spread this vital information, and help save lives.
