Many old Hollywood actors had affairs, it was a regular occurrence back in the day so just know that when you engage in that particular kind of media, it is very likely the people you are watching were having affairs of their own, from what I heard, peck’s relationship at the time was already going downhill, and she was even allegedly abusive, not to excuse cheating in any particular circumstance obviously, but the given context of the affair on peck’s behalf I would say makes it less problematic than your usual affair, although Ingrid historically was a harlot who slept with multiple married men.
