Replying to @lecbrams
Lewis is so vocal about it because he knows he fucked up himself, but has a great opportunity to place the blame on Charles. The media and his rabid fan base do the rest.

breaking my silence: the incident wasn’t even that deep. lewis’ comments are the reason its been so blown out of proportion but the incident itself wasn’t even that deep 🙂

Yes Lewis we could’ve had a 1-2, but with your fragile ego, you would rather have a 2-3 if you’re the 2 than a 1-2 if Leclerc is the 1 Same way in Singapore YOU threw away a 2-3 for a 2-6 just for a 5% chance at beating your teammate. Shamelessly crying on the radio for a pen 😭
Q: Lewis, after Monza, you called for a written rule of engagement from the team. Are you disappointed to be here again asking for similar talks? Should those talks have happened already, and is that what you need to happen now? Lewis : « I don't know what needs to happen now, how we discuss things when we go back. I'm not quite sure how I want to engage in that. Of course, the frustrations are today. I'm happy because this guy just won the championship, so I'm really torn because, on one side, I'm happy, and on the other side, I'm really p***ed. We lost valuable points, and we, as a team, worked so hard. We could have easily had a one-two today. Really, we had the pace to do so. We're going into Turn 4 first and second. If we just hold position, I think anything can happen in the race. But when your teammate works against you and then you lose positions like that, it's definitely tough. So, we'll just talk about it offline, and it's not really worth saying too much more. We don't have rules of engagement, and whether or not that will change anything from Charles' side, I don't know. We've just got to figure it out, but something needs to change for sure. » WOW 😂😭 #F1 #MexicoGP 🇲🇽

at the end of the day my driver stayed true to himself. didn’t throw his teammate under the bus, didn’t have a meltdown on the radio or in the press pen. did his job, ruffled some insecure egos, explained his position and willingness to oversee the incident and dipped

Charles Leclerc já está em Mônaco. O piloto vai acompanhar o nascimento do(a) filho(a) e deve chegar no Brasil somente nas vésperas para o TL2.

"For Hamilton to lay the blame at Leclerc’s feet is borderline delusional. "He didn’t like being attacked, became overly aggressive in defence as a result, and cost Ferrari a one-two finish. "That was a consequence of his actions, not Leclerc’s." ✍️ @MatCoch

Imagina seu companheiro mais novo que você e com menos experiência ter mais maturidade do que um hepta campeão de 45 anos.... eu teria vergonha
OH HELLO!!!! "i'll speak with lewis. i think we both didn't make the corner, i don't know if lewis' point was for me to get p3, but at least having a red bull second, i thought it was worth it for me to kind of keep the position and see what happens. that's what i did. i could be also unhappy with how much he pushed me out of the track in turn 1, but i think it's racing. when you are fighting for a win, it's the way it should be"

He prioritizes the team only when it works to his own benefit... otherwise, he’ll call for his own teammate to be penalized, even insinuating that the race stewards are handing a win to the team, just because it’s his teammate rather than him.
Was there a discussion beforehand? Lewis : « We didn't sit down and talk before. Again, it's something I mentioned in the past, but it's all fair and well racing against your team-mate as long as it's not to the detriment of the team's points and the team's opportunity of getting the result. At the end of the day the team has to come first and today we lost the win for the team, today we lost points, I lost second in the championship and that's a real shame. It affects so many people back at the factory. Luckily we still got points so we can hold onto second in the constructors' but it impacts the people that puits all the hard work in, and the Tifosi. So it wasn't good. » #F1 #MexicoGP 🇲🇽

This is not how someone who cares about the team talks. It’s not how someone with actual racing integrity would frame a teammate fight, either. Incredibly disrespectful to everyone in there and to Charles. Get this diva out of the team and solve 50% of Ferrari’s issues.
Lewis : « Before I joined this team, when I was in Mercedes, I watched and witnessed the back-and-forth between Charles and Carlos. Several races where they were battling so much that the person ahead just pulled away, and they had the pace to actually win the race. It’s one thing when that's happening in fourth and fifth as opposed to first and second, and you lose the win. That's significant. The guy is 28 years old, so I don't think it's an age thing. I think it's a mentality thing. It's like do or die. Like, either I win, or none of us do, and it shouldn't be that. It should be, us having got that one-two, which is still a good feeling. At Silverstone, I could have gone all kamikaze on him and taken him off and lost us the the win, but instead a one-two was there, and I think we got a one-two, or was it a one-three? I'm happy for the team to have experienced that. I'm hopeful we'll work towards a better place in the future. » #F1 #MexicoGP 🇲🇽

Of leaning into the dramatics, Charles just shrugs and says his honest thoughts- that it's racing and he is going for the win. He doesn't seem so interested in the mind games, he just races hard, as it should be.
