BREAKING: An Afghan refugee who robbed an 80 year old grandmother and was caught with a large commercial supply of drugs in his boot has been allowed to stay in Australia by Tony Burke.
You cannot make this up.
A convicted Afghan drug courier who shamelessly scammed an 80 year old grandmother out of $2,000 has just had his visa cancellation overturned.
Instead of being booted out of Australia, he's allowed to stay.
Why? Because of the Albanese government’s disastrous “Direction 110”
rules.
Look at what Immigration Minister Tony Burke’s broken system is forcing Australians to live next door to:
DRUG KINGPIN QUANTITIES: Caught with over 3kg of MDMA, 2kg of meth, and nearly 1kg of cocaine stuffed in his boot.
ELDERLY ABUSE: Convicted of fraud for preying on and robbing an innocent 80 year old woman.
ACTIVE OFFENDER: He was literally hauled into court twice just weeks ago facing brand new drug charges during his appeal.
ZERO REMORSE: Dropped out of his required rehab and told the court he doesn't need any more drug rehabilitation.
The tribunal admitted he is a “moderate risk” to reoffend, but ruled his “ties to Australia” and “fear of the Taliban” trump the safety of Australian citizens.
Tony Burke claims “community safety comes first” but this is a total betrayal.
Labor’s character framework has turned our immigration system into an absolute joke, and everyday Australians are paying the price for their utter weakness.

Out-of-touch and elitist Labor politicians who are safely insulated in their taxpayer-funded chauffeured cars don't think this kind of behavior is a problem.
Instead of addressing the issue, they provide this doctor/engineer with a network of taxpayer-funded welfare, free public transport, NDIS caseworkers, and social housing, forcing the law-abiding public to simply tolerate the disruption.
Under One Nation, he'd be met with an immediate, zero-tolerance police crackdown to restore order on the public transport network. Front-line police and Protective Services Officers would have the explicit power to arrest him on the spot for antisocial behavior, treating his episode as a criminal offense rather than a mental health or drug-related pass. He'd be permanently removed from the carriage, police would crack down heavily on the street-level drug use that fuels this behavior, and if his actions don't improve, he'll be held in custody and he'd have to convince a magistrate that he's fit to be released to the public (rather than the current system which requires police to convince a magistrate to not release him).
If you want the peace and safety of law-abiding taxpayers to finally come first, you have to vote for it.
