following doctor's orders, i've been taking rest super seriously. so seriously that the step counter app a friend made has been gently trashing me all week but it managed to make me smile so that's a win.

its 1:15am. i can hear the rain on the window. thunder is far away, it sounds like a big dog growling in its sleep. and it gives me this childhood feeling of knowing that no matter what we're going to be okay because our feet are under the covers and nothing can hurt us.
