i expected that. not the sleeping beauty having no desire to get out of bed.
my kid usually wakes up around 8.
we switched to winter time during the night so i expected her to wake up at 7.
it's 9. she's still sleeping.
i didn't win the lottery but this is even better.
following doctor's orders, i've been taking rest super seriously. so seriously that the step counter app a friend made has been gently trashing me all week but it managed to make me smile so that's a win.
X helped me land my first job at Product Hunt, then my next as founding engineer at Hero.
Here I am again :)
Looking for product/founding engineer, full-stack or applied AI roles in SF/NYC.
I love building 0 → 1, from code and design to growth.
DMs open. Reposts appreciated 🙏
its 1:15am. i can hear the rain on the window. thunder is far away, it sounds like a big dog growling in its sleep.
and it gives me this childhood feeling of knowing that no matter what we're going to be okay because our feet are under the covers and nothing can hurt us.

oh damn, i'd have to check. 4 or 5 times. Only missed their last tour in france because i was pregnant.
their concerts... it felt like going to collective therapy with everyone crying during your hand in mine. i think it's the closest i've felt to being connected to everyone around me if that makes sense.

it's the band i've seen in concert the most

I need a favor. Working on a talk, and I'm trying to find photos of this old Instagram logo as a sticker. If you walk past a bodega or any other random store and spot it, please snap a quick photo and send it as a reply here 🙏🏻

we're all good and my kid was convinced it was just thunder (which she loves)

i'd agree if the protests were a
safe place for small kids. i have a responsibility to keep my child safe and tear gas, fires and police beating up people aren't 2yo friendly activities.

weird to get tear gas in your living room but we're okay
