Unpopular opinion: Jalen Hurts is the most underappreciated QB in the NFL. 74.1% win rate as a starter (NFL + college) Wins on the biggest stages Still gets doubted every single year The Eagles' struggles lately should end the debate. Get well soon Jalen 🙌🏻

The Jalen Hurts-was-carried debate is dead. Fans and much of the media undervalued the Eagles' QB leadership & ability to keep the team together & competitive during tough times. That type of leader is not easily replaced by anyone else on the roster.

"One day I'm not going to be playing football. Whenever that is, I don't want to look back and be like, 'I could've given it a chance and I didn't. I like playing football. So if I have an opportunity to play, I'm going to try my best to play." Saquon Barkley on why he is deciding to play tonight through hamstring and back injuries. Saquon says he is not fun to be around when he is battling injuries. He is such a competitor. He wants to be out there. He brought a lot of juice and energy to the Eagles in Monday night’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The Eagles found something with the running game and hope to be able to run the ball on Washington tonight.

It’s official: @rephaleystevens is a 100% traitor and she wants to sabotage the campaign of @abdulelsayed. And she is pimping Black folks by saying that @mikerogersformi will support Black businesses. SHE IS A LIAR. What he will do is support to right wing Supreme Court justices that will continue the GOP War On Black America! Black Michigan peeps, Say hell no to Rogers and turn out in a massive way for Al-Sayed!

All companies in the trucking world should watch this video. No bullshit backing up into some ridiculous dock… just a competent woman driver, a well designed and planned out delivery area and a skillful forklift operator. What a concept.🔥📸 – at Motul, Yucatán

On a freezing December night in 1997, President Bill Clinton noticed a homeless veteran outside the Kennedy Center holding a sign reading, “Marine. Desert Storm. Hungry.” Rather than ignore him, Clinton removed his coat, sat beside the shivering man, and listened to his story. When the veteran revealed he had not eaten for two days, Clinton arranged for food and stayed until he finished. Moved by the encounter, Clinton promised to help him rebuild his life and contacted the Department of Veterans Affairs. The story reminds us that compassion, dignity, and a simple human connection can restore hope when someone feels forgotten. #BillClinton #Compassion #Dignity #Empathy #Humanity #Inspiration #Kindness #Leadership #MarineVeteran #MilitaryService #Motivation #NeverForget #Respect #SecondChances #ServeThoseWhoServed #SocialAwareness #SupportVeterans #ThePowerOfKindness #VeteranCare #VeteranSupport #Veterans #Homelessness #Hope #DesertStorm #HumanConnection IMAGINE WHAT TRUMP WOULD DO. HE WOULD TELL THIS VET THAT HE DOESN'T LIKE HUNGRY PEOPLE.

Dabo Swinney didn't have to stand up for Florida State's Mike Norvell. Nobody even asked him about it. He spoke up because he believed it was the right thing to do. As a Clemson fan, an average football season is a whole lot easier to stomach when you know your program is led by a man with this kind of character, integrity and moral conviction. Some things in life are worth more than championships. And Lord knows, Dabo has given us our fair share of those, too. Class act, Coach. Much respect.

After the game Jordan Shipp ran over to Malachi Toney to show him love and ask if they could pray together. God, continue to protect these young men. Their mothers did an incredible job raising them. 🙏🏾

What an interesting read........... On Jeopardy the other night, the final question asked: “How many steps does the guard take during his walk across the Tomb of the Unknown?” All three contestants missed it. Tomb of the Unknown Soldier 1. How many steps does the guard take during his walk across the Tomb and why? He takes 21 steps — symbolizing the 21-gun salute, the highest military and foreign tribute. 2. How long does he pause before turning to walk back and why? He waits 21 seconds, again in honor of the same tradition. 3. Why are his gloves damp? They are lightly moistened to ensure he never loses his grip on his rifle. 4. Does he keep his rifle on the same shoulder, and if not, why? He always carries it on the shoulder farthest from the Tomb. After each crossing, he performs an about-face and moves it to the outside shoulder. 5. How often are the guards changed? Every 30 minutes, 24/7, 365 days a year. 6. What are the physical requirements for a Tomb Guard? Applicants must be between 5'10" and 6'2" and have a waist no larger than 30". Other expectations of the Guard: They devote two years to the Tomb, live in the barracks beneath it, and must refrain from drinking alcohol on or off duty for the rest of their lives. They can never swear in public or dishonor the uniform or the Tomb. After two years, they earn a wreath pin signifying their service — fewer than 400 are currently worn. If they violate the code, they must relinquish the pin. Their shoes have thick soles to protect against extreme temperatures and metal heel plates that create the crisp click when they halt. Uniforms must have zero wrinkles or lint and are inspected in a full-length mirror. For the first six months, guards do not speak to anyone and do not watch television. Their off-duty time is spent studying the 175 notable individuals buried at Arlington National Cemetery, memorizing who they are and where they rest. Among them: President Taft, Joe E. Lewis, and Audie Murphy, the most decorated WWII soldier. Every guard spends five hours daily preparing their uniform. ETERNAL REST GRANT THEM, O LORD, AND LET PERPETUAL LIGHT SHINE UPON THEM. When Hurricane Isabel approached Washington, D.C. in 2003, Congress shut down for two days. The guards were offered permission to suspend duty due to danger. They replied: “No way, Sir!” Drenched and marching through the storm, they insisted that guarding the Tomb is the highest honor, not just a task. The Tomb has been continuously guarded — day and night — since 1930. God Bless and Keep Them I don’t often encourage sharing posts, but I would be honored if this one reached as many people as possible. We should always feel proud of the men and women who serve, wherever they are stationed. Duty – Honor – Country IN GOD WE TRUST — with Herbert F Wieland.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Some claims in this post are inaccurate. The Society of the Honor Guard says the Tomb has been guarded since 1937, the guard changes hourly in winter, sentinels can drink off duty, and there is no lifetime ban on alcohol or swearing. tombguard.org/society/faq leadstories.com/hoax-alert/202…
