“The kindest person in the room is often the smartest.” Illinois Governor J. B. Pritzker’s delivered a brilliant speech during Northwestern’s graduation. “How To Spot An Idiot” was the hook. I bet you’ll be glad you listened to this speech.

A @CasaBonita story from a Denver girl. Went several times as a kid in late 70s/early 80s. Loved it so much I brought a out of town coworker in the early ‘00s. Not the best meal/adult experience. Excited to have it be awesome again & send this lady pics as evidence. #redemption – at Colorado, USA

My core Casa Bonita memory is going there near my birthday. Probably my 5th? It was PACKED OUT, but the mariachis sang Happy Birthday to me! Also I got lost for a min that night in Black Bart’s Cave. #GoodTimes #casabonita – at Colorado, USA

This week I found out that I’m enrolled in the @SilverSneakers program with @ParkerRec. How, does a middle-aged chicka like yours-truly qualify for such a senior-rific program? I’m not sure, but my kid is getting A LOT of mileage out of this. #almost50 #notyet #Goodtimes

Southern Baptists refuse to take back megachurch because it has women pastors

Southern Baptist church representatives at their annual meeting also rejected a similar appeal by a smaller church, Fern Creek Baptist of Louisville, Kentucky, which is led by a woman pastor.
