"Accountability runs both ways," MSBA Executive Director Melissa Randol tells the audience attending our annual conference. She says public education is on the ballot—even when the words never appear. "Vote like our public schools depend on it - because they do," she says.

I just watched our commissioner of education resign in a room full of state superintendents. “The Board’s agenda is better served by a different commissioner.” When asked what is the biggest issue facing education, she immediately responded with “support”.
