I wish he would stop casting himself as an engineer. I'm sure driver feedback is important but there are guys at the factory that have studied how to build these cars for years. They are the ones who we are counting on to produce a good car not the drivers.

‘why wasn’t charles happy with p2’
dude i don’t know ask mr. ‘i don't smile very often when i'm p3’. maybe it has something to do with him being a professional athlete but I’m not sure
Damn, yeah, I don't think this would have been possible on a one stop.
Degradation on the hard tyre
LEC were pushing on the hard tyre, which the data also underlines. When LEC came out he was almost 1 sec. quicker than VER in sector 3.
HAD really nursed the tyres, unfortunately his overall pace was not enough.
The degradation difference inbetween the Ferrari drivers and Mercedes drivers is significant.
Watching George Russell slowly break down over the season is not a great feeling even if I don't really care about him. Though it does show how incredibly resilient Charles is. He weathered the 2022 season and came back stronger. As usual he got to work instead of giving up.

New brakes due to the system only suiting one driver, two DNFs that were mechanical and a couple of real low points with the spin in Miami and crash at Monza. One four race period is really the only downside on this season

You have no idea how happy I am that the real Charles is back. The confident Charles, the Charles who makes no mistakes when he feels confident in the car. The consistent Charles. And despite suffering two DNFs due to reliability issues, he is still fighting for P2 in the championship.
Honestly, a lot of people talk about his performances, but Charles’s season is so underrated. People only look at the results, and they’re right to do so, but you also have to look at the way he’s been performing. Charles is having a very strong season. The way he has worked day after day, week after week, month after month, trying to adapt to these new regulations. He even had to change his brakes, and he’s still managing to perform at an incredibly high level.
So many people doubted him when things weren’t going well, but he stayed focused in his own little bubble. While everyone was criticising him, he stayed silent and kept working to find solutions. Everyone thought he would never be able to bounce back with the CI discs, and some even said that if Rosberg couldn’t do it, why would Charles be able to?
And yet, we all know how important Brembo discs are to Charles. Those discs and brakes are part of Charles’s DNA. And despite being forced to change his brakes, he still managed to win straight away. The number of hours he spends at Maranello in the simulator or working with the engineers is just insane. The difficulties he faced from Canada to Silverstone have transformed him as a driver. He has learned so much from that, even though he didn't deserve to go through it.
His season, in terms of maturity, talent and leadership, has been simply incredible. As always. And it’s not over yet!!!
The guys who told me Ferrari pit wall was once again focusing more on keeping the cars apart than actual strategy were probably right in hindsight. I think I was giving them too much grace suggesting they were going for a one stop with Charles initially but pivoted when +
they realised the deg was too high and the hesitation led to the weird order they pitted the drivers. They showed me otherwise when they repeated that order on the next stop. We need to focus more on the other cars than on ourselves it's annoying. Sure they managed to rescue it +

vicky piria: “what i like about charles is that, even when you tell him he has an engine deficit, he always says he believes in it, that he can do it. i like this tenacity a lot, he’s always been like this.”
In honor of everything they put him through this season:

Another big late-race charge for @Charles_Leclerc! First, he sets the #DHL Fastest Lap, then snatches P2 from Max Verstappen.
