I am always against monkeying around with the Constitution, but if Trump does this and links it to policy areas, then it really is time to change or eliminate the pardon power, which was never supposed to be used as a blanket shield for preventing accountability

The UAW endorsed only one candidate in this race: Abdul El-Sayed. Our endorsement process is member driven. UAW members overwhelmingly chose to support Abdul because he's the ONLY candidate for U.S. Senate in Michigan that is aligned on our core issues -- and the only one that has ever showed up for UAW members when called on. Nobody else in this race can say that.
The UAW and I are aligned — Michigan’s manufacturing jobs should come BEFORE stockholder profits.

GM just announced the biggest stock buyback in automotive industry history. Instead of investing in their workers or new product lines, GM executives are robbing from the future to pay themselves and their shareholders today. Stock buybacks should be illegal.

I’ve been detained by the IDF, along with a group of rabbis & volunteers. We were simply harvesting olives in a grove near Nehalim in the West Bank. The occupation is a crime under international law. Harvesting olives isn’t a crime under any law I know.

"You wouldn't know it if you live in the USA or consume US media...but the fight between EVs and ICEs is basically over. Internal combustion is on it's way out. First it'll look slow, then fast. Fleet turnover will lag sales. But ALL the growth globally is in EVs." -@JesseJenkins
NEW | EV Adoption is booming around the world The Hormuz crisis once again revealed the risks of an energy system reliant on fossil fuels and countries are taking notice. Growing EV fleets have saved oil importers more than $20 billion since the start of the war.

For decades economic development has relied on tax breaks and subsidies for the largest corporations, a trickle-down approach that too often falls short. @NYCMayor and @NYCEDC are charting a new path. In the first deal of its kind in NYC history, the public is investing $30 million in a quantum lab - in exchange for three board seats and 15% of the revenue generated from technology it creates. And if any firm coming out of the lab merges, gets acquired, or IPOs, the city gets a payout. When public dollars are invested, the public should share in the wealth and innovation those investments create. nytimes.com/2026/10/14/nyreg…

Insider trading is one thing. Straight up telling regulators to allow insider trading is another, bigger thing. Dems have a lot to clean up next Congress, people should go to jail.
Billions of dollars’ worth of contracts predicting oil would fall and the S&P 500 would rise were placed about 15 minutes before Trump announced a U-turn on Iran in a post on Truth Social. CFTC staff began to investigate-- then were told to lay off. bloomberg.com/news/features/…

In this poll, Medicare for All has majority support when told it will eliminate all private insurance. As I keep telling people, it ain’t 2019 anymore. Find new talking points.
A month before the midterms, health care and gas costs tie as voters' top affordability worries. A quarter say they are "very worried" about affording each, ahead of food, utilities and housing. More in our new Health Tracking Poll: on.kff.org/4zgJv6z

Representative @AOC says the polls had her down 35 points on her first Election Day. She won by organizing the people consultants wrote off as non-voters. That's our plan in Florida too. If you've been counted out, I'm counting on you. #AngieForFlorida

I’m fighting to build a Michigan we can afford, a future we can look forward to, and a country we can be proud of. It would be an honor to earn your vote and to serve you as your Congressman.

264,000 errors. @NYCMayor has delivered the largest worker settlement in NYC history.
Since 2023, more than 200,000 Dashers in New York City were underpaid or paid late under the City’s delivery worker pay rules. These errors were unintentional, but that doesn’t make them acceptable. Dashers should be paid in full, on time, every time. We take full responsibility, and we’re deeply sorry. We’ve reached a $131.5 million settlement with the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection. Every impacted Dasher will receive the amount they are owed, and they’ll be contacted directly with payment details. We understand the impact of even one missed or late payment. We’ve addressed the issues that caused these errors and made changes to prevent them from happening again. Read more here: about.doordash.com/en-us/new….

The UAW stands with @IGMetall members taking action at more than 100 plants and supplier sites across Germany on 9/21. Autoworkers are standing up to plant closures, layoffs, and concessions—and demanding a future built on investment, secure jobs, and respect for the people who make this industry run. Genug ist genug. Solidarity forever.

The Age of Confiscation is out this fall. It’s a book about how seizing property has been more important to recent history than we tend to think, and about why it is returning in our era of geopolitics, energy and climate shocks. You can preorder it here: littlebrown.com/titles/nicho…
