Rebecca Davis has amazing clairvoyance. Incredible that she is still forced to drudge as a pamphleteer for the Daily Rag when she could have won the lottery countless times. Also rare to find someone who so readily confesses to be a rancid racist. Just incredible.
Rebecca Davis on the question "Are all whites racist?"
"100%. How can you be a white South African and not be racist?"
"I don't mean that in the way of you consciously think black people are inferior"
"There's just no way you can born into this society without internalising racist assumptions"

One statement before the elections:
Iβve endorsed different parties over time. Not because Iβm confused, but because I care about progress and Iβm willing to give credit where itβs due. This is not the moment to tear each other down over nonsense.
Take the DA as an example. Yes, they support Pride, something I personally despise.
But letβs be honest: are they forcing it on you through policy? No. They include everyone. Let them be. Just stay out of my home and schools... Simple.
That is not the same as cancel culture.
Any party that tries to erase or punish people for their identity, especially their ancestral and cultural identity, does not respect you.
I am not talking about Pride here.
I am talking about the right of Afrikaners, Anglo, Zulus, Coloureds, Indians, and everyone else to exist without being told their history or culture is illegitimate.
The DA does not do that. Neither does the IFP or the VF+. It is not a coincidence that these three also have the strongest track records in governance and principle.
My heart sits closer to the VF+, but that does not stop me from recognising and endorsing the DA where they deliver.
Due to their numbers, they will need to set the standard. Rightfully apply pressure so they don't act invincible like the ANC, producing nothing.
ActionSA used to be in my broader selection. Then Herman Mashaba started playing the race card against Afrikaners.
They backstabbed DA and VF+ in my home town in exchange for a powerful position, then they glorified this function as the face of the party. But when the rain came, the Instagram filters turned to Panda eyes. Herman made his party one off cancel culture. So no, f*&k them.
South Africa has many different cultures and identities. Respecting and protecting those identities is how you actually reduce racism, not by pretending everyone is the same, and not by inventing enemies. Parties that thrive on division are usually the ones afraid of parties that know how to govern inclusively without erasing people.
And letβs drop the lazy WEF conspiracy talk. None are coming to make you sit down to pee or force you to eat insects.
Global institutions can influence direction, but competent governments can take the investment and outmanoeuvre the ideology. Competence matters more than slogans.
Stop using petty politics to attack people who are actually trying to fix things, especially when your own alternative has a worse record.
That is often just envy dressed up as principle. The DA is also not βANC lite.β Their policies are different. It's lazy reasoning to dumb things down in such a way.
Do not confuse the compromises forced on the DA inside the GNU, where they have been sidelined by the ANC, with their actual party positions.
For the first time, we have had a government of national unity with no real opposition from the outside. The DA has had to play both roles at once while keeping the EFF and MK out of power.
That has never been done before. Give credit where it is due.
I genuinely do not care which of the decent parties you vote for. What I do care about is that you do NOT support parties that practice cancel culture. Those parties will make you feel unwelcome in your own country while delivering nothing.
We will need each other. Stable coalitions are the only realistic way to keep the ANC out of real power for good.
South Africa is at a turning point. It will only become the country it can be if people who disagree on some things still stand together on the basics:
competent government, protection of property and culture, and rejection of racial SCORE settling.
If I had three votes, they would go to the VF+, the DA, and the IFP.

The ANC-led City of Joburg failed to deliver electricity to this community for almost 6 months, and now that the DA stepped in, they tried to take the credit.
On 4 November, you have an opportunity to turn the ANCβs lights out. Vote DA on BOTH ballots! π³οΈπΏπ¦

Here in Nelson Mandela Bay the chaotic ANC-EFF government have failed this city. π¨
We are within striking distance of winning here! But only if every single DA supporter turns out to vote.
We need every resident across South Africa to go VOTE DA on 4 November. πΏπ¦
