Again, this is not true. Contrary to public misperception the final reader on every scan performed in the US is a US licensed and US board certified radiologist (uncommonly, preliminary afterhours reads in some hospitals are done overseas)
Literally none of this is true.
1. Cancer staging scans are not being sent to India to be read - in general you cannot bill for reads performed outside the US
2. Scans cannot be read independently by AI
3. Hospitals are typically open on the weekend
This quoted post is unavailable.
This happened because a radiologist is working their ass off to get cancer scans read at 11 pm on a Friday before the weekend and it is Federal law that results are immediately available to the patient in the electronic record
Healthcare is the only industry that drops your cancer scan results into an app at 11 PM on a Friday, then closes for the weekend.
No call. No context. Just a PDF full of words like "suspicious" and "cannot be excluded" and a little banner that says "Sleep well!"
Meanwhile billing found me in 4 hours 😐

Making a call-out post about my cat.
During my virtual therapy, he climbed up onto my chest, face so close his nose was touching my lips, and this guy sneezes into my open mouth as I'm talking. He is unsanitary and doesn't respect personal space.
Cancelled and stinky

Can't fault the price. The presentation, on the other hand, needs a serious rethink.

“It's easy to criticize something that happened 7 months ago,” says the guy who - in this same interview - blamed the economy on Joe Biden, who left office 2 years ago.
JD Vance: "I see what Abdul El-Sayed says about the war in Iran. I see him criticizing decisions the president has made, the military has made. But fundamentally we are where we are. In my view, I'd like to know what's Abdul El-Sayed's solution for the problem we have right now? It's easy to criticize something that happened 7 months ago."

This is a wild watch for a number of reasons, but it seems pretty clear that Vance's entire strategy for 2028 depends on convincing people that Trump's 2nd term didn't really happen and that he wasn't actually part of it.
🥴 JD struggles through surprisingly contentious CBS town hall 🥴
Vance faced a number of tough questions from audience members and from Tony Dokoupil during exchanges like this:
JD VANCE: The biggest reason why gas prices are so high is because when Joe Biden ...
DOKOUPIL: It's almost been two years. At a certain point it becomes your economy, not Biden's economy
Here's a supercut of Vance having a hard time explaining the sluggish economy, Trump's corruption, why the US hasn't already won the Iran war, and more:
