Analytics, famously not accounting for game situation
I’ll preface this by saying analytics absolutely have their place in the NFL and are a useful tool for coaches
But the flaw in them is that math can not possibly account for the almost unlimited amount of variance in an NFL Game…the decisions you make need to account for game script, opponent, the strengths and weaknesses of your own team etc

If you’ve ever engaged with any of my posts on social media, this is for you. 💗
In June, I lost my job. And while this has been a difficult thing to navigate, it also pushed me to put more of myself into the things I’ve been building.
Fangirl for Football. My community. My content. And now, Girls Who Get Social.
I’m working toward building something of my own, and I’m learning firsthand just how much goes into trying to turn something you love into a sustainable business.
That’s why I want you to know how much your support actually means to me.
Brand deals and affiliate links are some of my biggest income streams as a creator. They help pay my bills, fund the work I put into creating content, and make it possible for me to keep growing what I’ve started.
And sometimes, the things that help the most are the things that cost you absolutely nothing.
A like. A comment. A share. A repost. Clicking an affiliate link. Talking about my content with a friend.
Those little interactions can help more people discover my content, introduce new audiences to the brands I work with, and show brands that there’s a community here worth investing in.
And that can lead to more opportunities.
I’m putting a lot of heart, time, and work into building these businesses, and I’m incredibly grateful for every person who chooses to be part of that journey.
You never know how much a little support can mean to someone trying to build something of their own.
Thank you for being here, for engaging with my content, and for helping me keep doing what I love.
I appreciate you more than you know. 💗

Men will call Daniel Jones a Top 5 QB, then say women can't run an NFL team
I want to be supportive of women in sports, but Carlie Irsay-Gordon is a prime example of why certain jobs need to be left to men.
- Traded the farm for Sauce Gardner because of his name
- Gave Daniel Jones an extension
- Traded away your two cornerstone trench pieces
- Holding Jonathan Taylor hostage now
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The trade for Sauce Gardner and Daniel Jones’ extension were executed by then-GM Chris Ballard, not Carlie Irsay-Gordon, before Ballard was fired in October 2026. Jonathan Taylor signed an extension in August 2026 after expressing his desire to stay. cbssports.com/nfl/news/why-c… apnews.com/article/indian…

With Kansas City's loss, there is only one undefeated team left in the NFL.
Half the fanbase of said team is primarily tweeting about the Giants QB
A weekend event for Pittsburgh Steelers fans in Paris has been canceled because of security concerns following recent street protests in the French capital.

One of the greatest games ever created
Sensible Software didn't shy away from a controversial tagline for their game Cannon Fodder from 1993: "War has never been so much fun!"
The dark humour is present throughout the game, but not everyone got it - some criticised its "brutality" and supposed glorification of war and killing. I never understood that notion, since most action games involve blasting through hordes of enemies and killing the bad guys, don't they?
Regardless, it became one of the Amiga's most successful games ever, with a crapload of awards. Great graphics, an epic soundtrack, and excellent gameplay. A near perfect game.
Did you know it was actually built on a modified Sensible Soccer engine?
