How to connect Grok Bot to home machine and printer
if you are using @bot or a VPS hosted agent that gets blocked from using websites, connect it to a home device (always on desktop is best) via @Tailscale and turn on these 2 settings
bonus: your bots can now print your morning briefing to your home printer while being hosted in a data center across the country

Three hours a week of my life used to vanish into analytics reports. Now I drop the files in a desktop folder, point Cursor at it as context, and it builds the whole report. All that's left is the storytelling. 15 minutes. That's the whole difference.

Replying to @descript
@descript has been working on making it easier to automate media editing workflows for teams trying to keep pace with the demand for video content. Here's a sneak peek at our @zapier integration (one way you can take advantage of the API). I'm pretending to be an editor for my fave podcast (@planetmoney) and I'm automatically creating clips every time a new file hits the RSS feed.
What's cool about this is your prompt could be literally anything.
We're looking for beta testers to build this with us - including testing out our MCP. Let us know if you're a media editor who has been looking for ways to automate tedious workflows!

Introducing Fort Human, Descript’s new weekly newsletter about AI in creative work. I’m proud of this newsletter for a couple of reasons.
First: we need better conversations about AI and creativity.
Too much of the discourse swings between extremes - either breathless hype (“this generated video of a woman in a bikini just put a gun to Hollywood’s head and pulled the trigger”) or total doomerism (“every time a 5 second ai video is generated, four thousand acres of rainforest are incinerated”). It feels unserious to me. I want to create a platform for real conversation about AI in creativity.
Second: I believe that in a world of automated content and collapsing SEO moats, simply having something interesting to say becomes a moat.
When everyone can “grab the mic” with automation, one way to stand out is to actually say something worth listening to.
Brandon Copple is the chief writer and editor of Fort Human. We won’t always agree. I have no editorial control over what he writes and I like it that way.
We’re both always looking to connect with people who have interesting things to say about AI and creativity. Let us know if that’s you!

Packed house at @a16z SF tonight for our panel on AI creative tools ✨
So fun to share the stage with @mjlbach and @burkenstocks (+ our fearless mod @RKRigney).
I love talking about this space because everyone is interested - as a creator or consumer - which leads to great Qs!

I spent 50+ HOURS building an AI workflow that helps you post quality content on LinkedIn every day ⚡️
Leaders know they should be posting on LinkedIn more often, but they don't because they're locked in scrolling on X 😂
This @useplumb flow is the solution:
→ Give it your url and a writing sample one time
→ Exa scrapes your website and determines who your ideal customer is
→ Claude Sonnet 4 creates a list of questions your customers care about
→ One question and a winning LinkedIn formula are chosen at random every day
→ The flow emails you to ask if you have any thoughts on the topic
→ Then it conducts research on the topic, bringing back up-to-the-minute data
→ And emails you the perfect draft (including an image) using your voice, your initial thoughts, and the research
→ You can reply with feedback, have it publish straight to LinkedIn, or copy/paste and iterate on your own
Turns what should take an hour into 5 minutes.
The best part? You don't have to copy and paste this into n8n or some other platform that requires a PhD.
You can just subscribe to it and I'll keep making it better for you every week.
