I file hundreds of FOIA requests, then post the documents I get.
I repost things that the government pulls offline.
I chase down hard-to-find documents that are only on paper, then scan & post them.
Please support my work forcing transparency.

This is very cool. @zamaan_qureshi collected the 5K+ pages of FBI interview summaries and supporting docs from the Mueller probe @BuzzFeedNews & I pried loose via #FOIA and created a searchable database
New: I've created a database to search through the treasure trove of FBI 302 Mueller Memos, the notes the Mueller team took while interviewing key witnesses. Categorizing @JasonLeopold and @BuzzFeedNews's FOIA releases.
NOT every 302 included on the site

Ernie Lazar has announced retirement. Ernie, if you didn't know his name before, was (and is) a giant in FOIA requests. His tireless efforts to gain access to government documents has caused a huge release of information now online.

Pls @jjhorgan @KatrineConroy just....please act now. This should be illegal. I saw stumps of 1000 year old trees @SaveFairyCreek flagging tape on 2000 year old yellow cedars. It’s like destroying Pantheon or the Sistine Chapel to make a buck. Enough already. #oldgrowth #bcpoli

NEW: By the time Michel Hernandez was done with his transfer to Charlotte CI, he was bloody and barely able to stand.
A rare video leaked to @MiamiHerald reveals his beating – which doesn't match officers' reports. @FL_Corrections authorized it anyway. miamiherald.com/news/special…

Reflagging for those who may’ve missed late last night….but a notable ruling that if DOJ investigates a federal lawmaker and decides not to charge, court records about the probe may remain secret forever…..
Court records about why a search warrant was issued for Sen. Richard Burr’s phone in an insider trading probe should remained sealed, perhaps forever, a judge ruled today. One transparency advocate said about the sweeping decision: ‘It’s offensive.' politi.co/34o8xEt
