TEAM BHARAT had a constructive meeting with the officials from the Ministries of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Heavy Industries, Agriculture and other concerned departments to discuss the implementation of the E20 ethanol blending policy and the concerns being raised by citizens across the country. TEAM BHARAT sincerely thanks the Ministry and the officials for taking the time to hear Team Bharat’s representations and the experiences shared by millions of vehicle owners, consumers and taxpayers. We also appreciate Hon’ble Union Minister Shri Hardeep Singh Puri Ji ( @HardeepSPuri ) for joining the discussion and engaging with us on the issues raised. During the meeting, Team Bharat placed before the Government the practical concerns relating to consumer choice, transparency, affordability, vehicle compatibility and the challenges faced by owners of vehicles affected by the current implementation of the E20 policy. We also presented our suggestions and demands aimed at ensuring that the policy is implemented in a manner that is fair, transparent and consumer-centric. The Government on their end shared its perspective on the objectives behind the ethanol blending programme and the measures being considered as part of its implementation. We welcome the opportunity for dialogue and appreciate the willingness shown to listen to citizens’ concerns. Today’s meeting should be seen as the first step in an ongoing conversation, not the conclusion of one. Team Bharat will continue to engage constructively with all stakeholders while remaining committed to independently representing the interests of citizens. We will closely follow the progress on the issues discussed and continue to advocate for practical, evidence-based solutions.
