AMERICANS, DO YOU KNOW WHO DONALD TRUMP IS WELCOMING INTO YOUR COUNTRY? I am a Brazilian journalist, and I have been closely following the criminal investigations involving Flávio Bolsonaro, the son of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro. Reuters reported on October 27 that Flávio left Brazil for the United States after losing the presidential election, despite a Brazilian Supreme Court order requiring him to surrender his passports. Now I have a question: Will American taxpayers be forced to pay for the protection of a Brazilian politician facing serious criminal investigations? Before anyone screams “political persecution,” here are the actual case numbers. You can look them up yourselves. 1. BANCO MASTER, DARK HORSE AND SUSPECTED MONEY LAUNDERING Brazilian Supreme Court (STF) Case: INQ 5,070 Full docket: 0181367-57.2026.1.00.0000 Related proceedings: PET 16,369 and INQ 5,026. Federal investigators are examining suspected money laundering, corruption and illegal international financial transactions involving the financing of Dark Horse, a film about Jair Bolsonaro. The investigation involves financial dealings with Daniel Vorcaro, the former controller of Banco Master. 2. SUSPECTED FINANCIAL LINKS TO THE PCC DRUG-TRAFFICKING ORGANIZATION Brazilian Superior Electoral Court (TSE) Case: AIJE 0603371-06.2026.6.00.0000 Filed October 23, 2026. This electoral lawsuit questions whether millions of dollars transferred through companies and investment funds linked to the Dark Horse financing network indirectly benefited Flávio Bolsonaro’s presidential campaign. One company involved in the financial transactions was also identified in investigations concerning suspected money laundering connected to the PCC (Primeiro Comando da Capital), one of Brazil’s largest criminal organizations. The lawsuit seeks the annulment of Bolsonaro’s candidacy or election certification and an eight-year disqualification. To be absolutely clear: the alleged connection between the money and the PCC is under investigation. It has not been judicially established that the PCC financed the film or his campaign. 3. WILLER TOMAZ AND ONLINE GAMBLING A separate investigation before Brazil’s Supreme Court, overseen by Justice Alexandre de Moraes, examines suspected money laundering involving attorney Willer Tomaz, a close friend of Flávio Bolsonaro. Investigators are examining financial transactions involving gambling companies, payment platforms and businesses connected to Tomaz. The exact court docket number has not been publicly verified. 4. THE RACHADINHA CORRUPTION CASE Rio de Janeiro State Court (TJ-RJ) Case: 0072696-34.2020.8.19.0000 Prosecutors formally accused Flávio Bolsonaro of crimes including embezzlement, money laundering and participation in a criminal organization involving alleged diversion of public employees’ salaries. The charges were dismissed in 2022 after evidence was ruled inadmissible. There was no conviction, but there was also no trial determining whether the alleged conduct occurred. 5. RODRIGO BACELLAR AND COMANDO VERMELHO Brazilian Supreme Court Case: PET 14,959 Full docket: 0123047-48.2025.1.00.0000 Rodrigo Bacellar, a political ally of Flávio Bolsonaro, was arrested and later became a criminal defendant in proceedings concerning alleged obstruction of a police operation targeting Comando Vermelho, another major Brazilian drug-trafficking organization. 6. MÁRCIO CANELLA AND ORGANIZED CRIME Electoral case: RO-El 0601451-66.2026.6.19.0000 Another political ally supported by Flávio Bolsonaro, Márcio Canella, was arrested during an investigation into suspected organized-crime-related money laundering involving fuel businesses. Brazilian electoral prosecutors have also questioned his candidacy over alleged connections to militias and Comando Vermelho. These are separate proceedings involving Bolsonaro’s allies, not criminal charges against Flávio himself. 🧵

Laura Coates: “let’s move on and talk about this, because we’re getting plenty of anecdotes that are showing that some trump voters are absolutely fed up. not with harry enten, of course, but more broadly.” Voter: “i mean, in the past three months, he’s lost 85% of my support. i did vote for trump.” Interviewer: “like, how do you feel about that vote now?” Voter: “i feel pretty stupid and ashamed.” Interviewer: “so how many times have you voted for donald trump?” Voter: “twice.” Interviewer: “so two donald trump votes.” Voter: “i thought he would be a businessman.” Interviewer: “how do you feel about your vote now?” Voter: “oh, disgusted.” Interviewer: “what was the thing that made you turn on trump? anything personal?” Voter: “oh, yeah. he deported my fiance. it hit close to home. yeah, he’s a piece of (bleep). i didn’t think anybody could be that cruel. yep. yep.” Laura Coates: “and that’ll do it. that’s an anecdote, obviously, in a series of them. but i mean, if you were trying to extrapolate that, brian, i mean, how worried should republicans be that there are people who were formerly so pro-trump who now feel betrayed?” Brian: “yeah, listen, i think they should be very worried. i think the number that matters more than anything else is three point seven. you know, three point seven is what the inflation rate is. and the inflation rate has been a killer to joe biden. it’s obviously having a tremendous impact on trump. and i think some presidents got to figure out how to bring the inflation rate to two point three. that’s more manageable. and until they can do that, everybody’s going to be on the chopping blocks.” Laura Coates: “so what do you do in terms of strategy if you know that this is the concerns, and obviously the midterm elections are normally sort of a recall and whoever the party is the majority. but this adds something different because you’ve got a new poll showing that 44 percent of likely voters said that their vote will be a vote against trump. that’s likely voters.” Brian: “yeah, that’s the problem with politics, quite frankly. that’s why candidates don’t run on things. they run against things and against people. and it’s why the country cannot come together. and right now, my fear is however this shakes out is that voters are voting on promises, not on policies, and they’re going to set expectations in their mind. let’s say democrats are successful in getting the house and the senate, and they’re going to have these expectations about what they’re going to do on affordability, just like they did coming out of the 2024 election. how did that turn out?” Laura Coates: “the pendulum is just going to keep swinging back and forth and back and forth because we’re not voting on policies. we’re voting on the rhetoric that we’re hearing at rallies, are going to be voting on promises, promises that were already kept, promises that this president would lower interest rates.” Brian: “right, but now they’re voting on new promises that would be kept. the president, no, again, but i’m saying, but i think it’s a combination thereof. the lower inflation didn’t happen. not enter into endless wars. that didn’t happen. the exact opposite happened. so i think it’s a combination of both reflecting on someone who said, i feel stupid for what i did. i feel dumb that i voted for him twice. i think it’s reflective of what they experienced. they deported his fiance. he’s never going to support someone who’s going to do that.” Laura Coates: “that’s right. but in that same daily show clip, there were a ton of people who said they were going to stand with trump through hell or high water. they exist too. i think the congressman gives an important point.” Congressman: “if democrats retake both houses, i’m going to assume we’re going to retake the house. pressure will be on. i mean, one thing that i have said over and over again is that january 2027 cannot be january 2025 again. they cannot show up looking like they got punched in the face. they’ve got to show up ready to go. the bill is written, the game plan done, the rules figured out and ready to actually take some actions. and even if they don’t have a veto-proof majority, go out and fight and make republicans explain why do you think it’s okay for trump to have a billion dollars to refit the qatari plane when our health care costs are going up? why are we building an arch when medicaid costs are getting out of control? i mean, i think they’ve got to try to keep their promises, but they’ve also got to stop having the fight from the back foot and get on the front foot and make them defend what they’re doing. we’ll see if they have that plan in place if that happens.”

I now have two sources close to Susie Wiles who claim that Trump is preparing a vast misinformation campaign for November 4th, built around conspiracy theories alleging widespread election fraud. The plan? Declare victory regardless of the results, accuse Democratic officials of manufacturing ballots overnight, claim voting machines were secretly manipulated, and demand that Republican candidates refuse to concede. In this scenario, the goal isn’t to prove fraud. It’s to convince millions of Americans that any election Republicans lose must have been stolen.
