If you're bad at texting I'd simply assume that your in-person communication skill is worse. The inability to make good use of the leverage of having time to think your replies through and elaborate on them is a flaw. Can it be difficult than thinking/speaking simultaneously?
I dont believe in ppl who claim to be bad at texting tbh

You should nourish within yourself a high truth preference in all matters, not just regarding the abstract, but also in regards to yourself, for if you wish to be a strong person and live the best life possible, you cannot allow fear to take root, become your master and govern you, for the more you make denying reality your go to method for coping with it, the more you must pretend, hide and deny to simply exist - so now ask yourself: does a prisoner of fear strike you as someone living this life in the way aligned with their highest potential selves? Are your heroes prisoners of fear? Do you permit your cowardice to dress itself as aesthetic sensuality, higher morality or intelligence, and tell yourself that by giving into one of the lowest parts of yourself you are doing the right thing, or do you keep lying to yourself as much as you lie to others? The brutality of reality is that just because you pretend something isn't real, doesn't mean it isn't, and thus the effects of existence continue to exert themselves upon you, for your denial of a thing does not erase the effects of that thing. You see, in needing to hide from reality, you are still subject to it, because rather than free you, the avoidance of it has forced you to organise your life around it - and thus in attempting to escape it, you have merely exchanged the burden of confronting it for the more onerous burden of perpetually hiding from it - either way, you must live with it - and only one way lets you master it. Strategically speaking, you are also incredibly vulnerable. Anyone who discovers what you are hiding from can simply force you into confrontation with what you're avoiding on terms which are not your own, and in doing so, ambush you by imposing it on you to destabilise you. This is another price you pay for lying to yourself: a big gaping tactical vulnerability that allows people to hurt you by doing nothing but speaking the truth to you, and truth like beauty and goodness is part of the trifecta that forms divinity - so what does it say about you when something pure can hurt you? God did not put you on this Earth to be wounded by truth, and so it is far better to make truth your friend and wield it as your weapon than let it become your enemy - because repeatedly choosing against it has made you vulnerable to it.

It is generally wise for women, especially young women, to limit the access that men have to them. If you are an even moderately attractive or intelligent young women, men are going to repeatedly proposition you in some pretty strange and undesirable ways until your threat detection pattern recognition builds up a natural distrust and contempt for men. It also just causes background stress and anxiety to have to be on your guard around men all the time. Much potential nonsense, upset and danger can be averted by minimising your engagement with men as much as possible. Of course, if you are ambitious and want to accomplish anything worth accomplishing as a woman, then men are pretty unavoidable, as they are the vast majority at the highest levels of competence hierarchies, and thus if you are going to properly apply yourself in a way that makes avoiding them unfeasible, you should generally carry yourself in a way that makes you seem uninteresting and otherwise unapproachable. Aim to be efficient and bland, rather than interesting and likeable. Don't be pleasant, sweet or complimenting, because they will your warmth as a sign of receptivity to their lust driven overtures, and start to fantasise you are attracted to them. Do not accentuate your sexuality by dressing to entice them for whatever meagre dopamine hits that may bring you. Aim to go largely unnoticed by all except who you need to be noticed by - do not be conspicuous. If you are too interesting, likeable and play even small attention games, you will end up in many awkward and undesirable situations. Some of these situations be genuinely dangerous, whilst others may just lose you opportunities in your unwillingness to reciprocate warmth or forfeit your dignity. The men with ill designs on you will be many, whilst the ones you can genuinely appreciate, feel safe around and trust will be few. Truth be told, women do not really have any business working alongside men, and so if you are going to regardless, these are the sorts of protective measures you should be taking.

I always try to act in good faith when I interact with people. Not because I am naive but because I am always looking to secure the moral high ground so that I can punish how I wish, without regret, should I ever be crossed. I like to be the only person that can change my mind.

Modesty is the predisposition towards gratitude that comes from the awareness that you’re not entitled to things merely for existing and so whatever is freely given to you naturally elicits heartfelt gratitude for reducing your burden. This is rarer to find in women than in men because our realities are starkly different (Men are hardly ever given free meals and so whatever kindness shown to a man is more likely to elicit genuine gratitude since he isn’t used to such). There is a reason “as you should” and “bare minimum” are uniquely female-coded speaks. They are narcissism induced phrases mirroring the general entitlement women feel with respect to male benevolence, an entitlement that does not stem from any prior correlative sacrifice so as to earn it, but merely from the fact of their existence, having received prior kindnesses from different men. It is an arbitrary ego-inflation that increases their natural baseline expectation and prevents them showing any real gratitude because they’re merely getting what they “deserve”. There is a reason Cicero described gratitude as “not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others.” Genuine gratitude is what provokes the continual flow of all other streams of kindness. It is the grease that oils the machine. It inspires in the source the moral urge to “do more”, but quite ironically, also inspires in the beneficiary the moral urge to “give back”, and in doing this, symmetry is created that enriches both the giver and the recipient and the social contract is sustained. This is why you must not negotiate modesty. You cannot truly continually sacrifice for a person who sees your effort as their due.
I will keep saying it, that parents have a lot of work to do on their children. A lot of intentional effort has to go into raising a child. Once dated a lady from a family that does not know how to say thank you. Do something for the sister, and it is a bland thank you. Do something for the brother, bland thank you. Do something for the said lady herself; it's a bland thank you. Whereas, I have met a lady who said: "Babe, please lend me money. I promised my sister I would pay for her apprenticeship, but it is coming so suddenly, and I can only spare 30k now. Lend me 20k so I can sort her." Asked how much, she said 50k. Sent 100k to her, sort your sister, and keep the rest since you are not boxed up. I wasn't expecting her to tell the sister, since she's in her big sis mode. But to my surprise... After sending epistle, she went ahead to tell the said sister I paid for it, and told the brother and the entire family texted me for the first time, to say thank you. And was feeling almost embarrassed by "thank you." If I do anything for my own siblings they will say thank you, pray for me, do same the following day, and they will even tell our parents. And my parents will still call me to say thank you, and pray for me. Most times, I wonder why. But I have come to realize that it was how we were raised. And checking through too... The act of appreciating others very well for what they have done for us is a measure of how they have been raised.

Consistency and wasting of time happens in the same time frame. The difference is that the former operates with a sense of awareness, pattern recognition, observation, and insight of expected results. The later operates with none of this as it expects a similar result as consistency when it hasn't followed or considered the process requisite for the outcome. Many of us are unconsciously wasting time thinking we're being consistent and this doesn't seems as a trouble at the beginning until years passed when we begin to expect positive outcome of our actions and nothing comes out. The farmer that sowed on a sandy ground expects the same result as the one that sowed on fertile ground - but the season of harvest will clearly distinguish the one who was consistent and the one who wasted time. However, outcomes are not entirely based on efforts, other factors that are beyond the individual influence - policies, laws, climate, geography - affects the quality of outcome. That means even if an individual is consistent, if there are no favourable factors, there'll be minimal outcome similar to him just wasting his time. But we can't simply surrender our lives to the winds of varying factors without at least looking for a leverage. Because whether pleasant or unpleasant factors, it's expected of you to be consistent in producing outcomes. It's the way of survival; it's the way of life. That's why living species develop structures or adaptive features to survive the wild. Your excuse is valid. But your life is defined by your outcomes. So, you must look for a leverage that you can consistently work on even in harsh conditions so that you can survive - take advantage of your advantage.

Longing for a time you were never in and a place you’ve never been with a person you’ve never met - such is the power of the imagination, of the spirit, of the force of desire of the soul exploding, sprawling and unfolding into every direction as it imposes itself onto reality to remake it! To remember what you have never known but deeply tasted and make that fantasy reality, because if you can see it and imagine it, then no matter how difficult the path nor how seemingly impossible the odds - it is real - real within your heart and mind, and so with God by your side, the persistence of your efforts would see that vision made material, until the unreal is so real it becomes surreal!

My ego wants me to take stock of the offences people have perpetrated against me and seek recompense. Still, my conscience reminds me that I've also offended and disappointed those who had faith in me. It's arduous, really, the balance between pride and conscientiousness.

1K likes & counting. Reason this resonates with women is because they never imagine they could be the discarded wife. In their minds, they’re the lady getting flown out. And that solipsism is why they rarely condemn rotten behavior. They believe they’ll one day benefit from it.
It doesn’t always work like that oh☹️☹️ When I was working in the bank, one of my colleagues was dating a big man who happened to be one of our major customers. At the time, she still had her boyfriend so we all advised her to just chop the man’s money while maintaining her relationship. 😭 Six months into the relationship, she came to work one day and told us the man wanted to leave his wife and marry her we screamed.. We told her not to make that mistake because we were convinced that if he could leave his wife for her, he could also leave her for someone else. She married him exactly one year into their relationship. Fast-forward to when she had her first pregnancy, the man sponsored her to USA to have their first baby. she sent us chocolate and whenever I’m eating that chocolate, I feel like ntor 🥵😜was attached to it because imagined she listened to our advice? She for still dey do “next customer please with that red bank” She has had her second child with the same man, got a brand-new car as a push present and her mum has travelled to the USA about five times now. Omo, life don pass rich prince falling in love with village girl feem abeg.. Anytime I view her status, I’m always grateful that she followed her mind oh and never listen to us.

I have an unwavering belief that I will make it. Yet one thing terrifies me. I have seen men who did their best, minded their business, believed in God, followed the law, and still ended up poor. I'm trying my best. But I know I'm not the first man to do so. And that scares me.

There's a reason why men tell women that "a man can love his woman and still cheat" and women tell men that "a virgin woman doesn't guarantee a good marriage." They are not particularly stupid as we might conclude. Everyone is just trying to get the best deal out of the market.

Women are natural extremists, for they are both more loyal, and less loyal than man simultaneously. They are less loyal in the sense they are more easily dissatisfied, and more readily prone to betrayal rather then reconciliation once they feel dissatisfied, but more loyal in the sense that if they revere a man, they truly revere that man, and absolutely nothing bad you can say about him can turn her against him. You could slander him or reveal the very worst secrets about him, and she either wouldn’t believe it, or just straight up wouldn’t care. Nothing you say can damage her view of him. He is the exception to her every rule.

As a man you've got to dare. Dare to be different, dare to be calculated, to be private, self-invested, progressive and keep having that mental picture of where you're seeing yourself. As surely as your heart pumps you can live above your birth conditions. You can be anything.

1. renounce useless guilt. 2. don’t make a cult of suffering. 3. live in the now (or at least the soon). 4. always do the things you fear the most; courage is an acquired taste, like caviar. 5. trust all joy. 6. if the evil eye fixes you in its gaze, look elsewhere.
Since pain will go around make sure it is meaningful. Make sure you don’t suffer more than you have to. Because the less hellish life is predicated on the meaningful nature of one’s suffering.

You don’t want to be the guy who has spent years studying crypto, blockchain, Python, copywriting, forex, affiliate marketing and graphic design, yet has no clear career direction in any of them. Consolidate your knowledge and systemise your efforts around something, no matter how small. Bet on it. Make the right sacrifices and the necessary mistakes. Endlessly consuming information and analysing them without any skin in the game, or worse leaving each time it gets uncomfortable, only nurtures your fears and protects your ego.

For all its sins, Twitter has made me very grateful for the parents I had, the marriage they lived, and the humiliation that their commitment to each other spared us. The things I read here shock me every day. It's just a group of men & women who want to have their cake & eat it.
