Everything is literally on fire and legacy newsrooms are telling reporters to watch out with their little tweets. It’s so dumb.
I know Stanley Cup isn't as big as other sports championships, but it would be really cool if the Avs & Lightning didn't take the ice tonight in protest. Disrupt things that people care about. They care about sports.

The news reports of how many shootings there have been over the past weeks are not special. This is just the media reporting what's trending. Every day in america is a massacre, and will be until the culture which normalizes killing people, in self defense or otherwise, is ended.

My "indecent proposal"... • Repeal the 2nd ammendment • Ban gun ownership completely, and destroy them • Allow antiques and heirlooms only if they have been permanently disabled • Disarm the police, security guards, etc., and slash the military.

I know that's way overboard, but that's the point. Gun violence has become so extreme, we need politicians willing to talk about equally "extreme" versions of gun control in order to find a compromise that actually saves lives. "Reasonable regulation" is too little too late.
