The main prize has always been who are the men behind the ‘redacted’ names in the various court documents. 🍿
Looks like I have to do this again. Fuck ‘tHe LiSt’ it’s a bloody #deadcat The names are out there and yes two were criminally charged and others have coped civil suits, raids, high profile divorces and being chucked from their own companies. #epstein teapawt.org/ohreallytruly/status/1…

Me (talking to professionals): Domestic violence perpetrators don't just target physical safety. They also target self-determination and satisfaction. Social Worker: I never shared this before in professional setting but my dad tried to kill my mother when I was very young. Me: I'm sorry about that. I'm curious if you haven't shared this before why are you choosing to share this now? Social Worker: Because you said domestic violence perpetrators target more than physical safety. They also target satisfaction. My mother loved to knit and my father wouldn't let her. I saw my dad and mom in what you were saying. To many stopping someone from knitting or sewing or going for walks alone, or enjoying a moment with their family playing cards may pale in comparison to death threats, and severe violence. And still it is important to remember that #CoerciveControl is about a pattern of behaving that significantly limits someone else's ability to think, feel and act like their own person. We can't just look for bruises and marks. We need to see the way that domestic violence perpetrators steal joy and pleasure. @SafeandTogether #StopBlamingMothers #StopIgnoringFathers

Yesterday I watched the Rolf Harris documentary. Today he died. Does anyone know if there's a Nigel Farage documentary?

As a 10 year old Ihad a friend who collected condoms. Used condoms. Off the street. He used to blow them up to impress us. We were all impressed of course. I shudder now.

Mark Rowley’s stubborn refusal to accept Baroness Casey’s diagnosis that the Met is institutionally racist, misogynistic, and homophobic provides a demonstrable example of some of her key findings. If you can’t name it, you can’t fix it. He’s fallen at the first hurdle.

A thread of my favourite Hungarian phrases, starting with this one… In Hungary, instead of saying “my bosses gave me too much work to do” you can use the poetic phrase bekergettek tátott szájjal a faszerdőbe. It means “they chased me into the dick-forest with a wide-open mouth”

When we say "crime is a social construct", what we mean is that you, as an individual, can go to jail for littering, but a corporation can poison the air, the soil, and the water of an entire town, and no one will go to jail.

1. Thread on the most positive masculinity I've ever seen. A few years ago I worked in Leicester and would stop to get a takeaway curry on Narborough Road on way home. This was probably a Friday but can't be sure.

But Rishi Sunak’s Conservatives now under siege on three fronts - with official investigations into Dominic Raab, Nadhim Zahawi and Boris Johnson - difficult for PM who pledged to instil “integrity, professionalism and accountability at every level” of his government.
