Albo’s golf club rort is the gift that keeps on giving - and Credlin nailed why it’s killing him.
As Angus Taylor asked in Parliament: the PM promised no CGT or negative gearing changes, then did them. Promised a $275 power bill cut he never delivered.
Denied mocking the Japanese PM when he did. Denied falling off a stage when he did. Claimed his $6m Marrickville Golf Club grant, 200m from his house, was for sewerage when it wasn’t.
Said the program wasn’t invite only when it was.
Why does this PM have such a difficult relationship with the truth?
Credlin is nailed it, this crystallises his incompetence and deceit, and marks a confident Opposition Leader’s ascendancy.
He was an honorary member for 14 years, undisclosed until caught. The invite only process involved a former staffer.
The NSW government already fixed the actual sewerage issue. Instead of admitting it was for clubhouse upgrades, he doubled down.
The Senate is now probing the wider $560m pork barrel.
Same pattern elsewhere: hundreds of thousands to Labor’s own Ballarat Trades Hall/union HQ.
Meanwhile, veterans and over 65s cop cuts. It stinks. A
previously underwhelming PM is becoming loathed because, as Credlin keeps showing, he treats the truth as optional.

This is the ATO Commissioner Rob Heferen appointed in 2024 by @AustralianLabor Treasurer @JEChalmers. He’s a career Public Servant and he’s paid $928,980 a year. He’s never worked outside of the APS (Australian Public Service) or run a small business & neither has anyone on his team, yet he was happy to cut off credit card payments, the cash flow lifeline small businesses depend on when the tax bill lands. Well done @JNampijinpa for holding him to account.

Australia bet big on hydrogen made from renewables and lost billions. Now, one of Australia's largest miners may soon cut production and jobs. The cause was a set of catastrophic decisions by Labor leaders and Fortescue's founder, Andrew "Twiggy" Forrest.

This is civilizational demolition led by @AlboMP and Twiggy who sold Australians on the delusion that electricity from wind and solar could power mining, steel-making, and H2! It was always ridiculous yet he boasted of this nonsense to the applause of the New York Times in 2021

Taxpayers gave mining titan Twiggy Forrest's Fortescu A$308M in energy subsidies in 2025 alone, plus A$99M for an H2 project he abandoned. In exchange, Forrest gave millions for propaganda to pass @AlboMP government's censorship bill. It's a transparent, sinister quid pro quo.

How is @shellenberger doing better work on Australian affairs, than most Australian Journalists based in Australia?

The irony is next level. Govt shills getting on social media platforms to rant about ‘algorithms’ as the ‘problem’. When the issue is rants from your mates stem from said shills regularly lying and gaslighting the public. Then they get ratioed. #auspol
An angry rant from a mate at the pub is one thing. An algorithm serving you a thousand rants is another. Our Digital Duty of Care will put more responsibility on online platforms to reduce foreseeable harms and build safer services #auspol
A must read if you are wondering why Albanese is forcing his draconian Digital censorship laws on us. A truly US style of secretive funding of NGO’s to influence censorship policy and legislation all under the guise of ‘keeping children safe’ #auspol
Check out old matey. Has dialled the faux outrage right up. Can you imagine him actually saying this to another adult in person. The mind boggles.

If roles were reversed, and it were a male politician making this face whilst a woman was addressing the parliament, it would kick off an "urgent national conversation" about how disrespectful Australian men are to women, misogyny, the political boys club, male entitlement, the manosphere, rape culture, how this perpetuates male violence against women, and on, and on, and on. Albanese would probably order a Royal Commission. When @sarahinthesen8 does it to @senatorbabet there's crickets.

The electorate aren’t goldfish. Our memories are long enough to recall June 2024, when you declared that trans-identified men with penises should be able to use women’s public bathrooms. It took a Supreme Court ruling to force you to uphold women’s rights, and now you pose as our bold champion? Please.
The time for talk has long passed. This government is putting its money where its mouth is when it comes to supporting women and girls.
We'll back practical action to confine misogyny to the history books - in public services, workplaces, and online.
