I built BuildHop because I hated how much pressure there was around one single “launch day.”
You spend weeks building something, post it once, and then… hope the internet notices?
BuildHop gives builders another way to keep getting discovered, get anonymous feedback, and see how real people react to what they made.
If you’re building something right now, put it on there 🐇

I don’t need another productivity app.
What I need is a Victorian ghost that follows me around whispering “finish what you started.”
I keep thinking about how many interesting products never get seen because the person who made them is better at building than announcing.
Visibility shouldn't be a contest for who can write the loudest launch post 🌱

It's been a while so I thought I'd make some new fan art
If you haven't hopped today, get to it and find some new products! buildhop.io

Daily vlog 16/30 - #VlogtoberChallenge2026
I'll not record a separate video for today - I think/hope that almost 2h live video constitutes as one.
Encouraged by yesterday warm reception - I've done some more live hopping today.
During these two hours I've shared a lot of information about the web design and my taste and pointed some typical issues that AI produces.
There were also some absolutely great designs like Molted Email from @moonfarm_dev ( towards the end of the stream )
Decided to do some more spontanous live hopping

Hello tech team! 👋
Hope you're having a good Saturday 😁
No big updates from me today! No building, no coding 🙅♂️
I did notice that 3 of my projects are in the @Buildhop_io all-time leaderboard, so I'm pleased about that. Thanks to everyone for their interest along the way 😄

How’s your Saturday?
I’m reading this excellent feature on myself and a couple of other awesome builders and working on teaching Claude Shannon to rap for a music video.

I'm in the spotlight!
My interview on @Buildhop_io was featured in this week's “Builders Behind the Launches”.
In it, I talk about what motivated me to build One Design and Sparc.
This quote captures one of the moments that inspired Sparc:
“The inspiration included a familiar household interruption. Alex had just sat down to play games when his wife reminded him they had parents’ evening.”
Getting your priorities right matters, and that’s what I built Sparc to help you and your family do.
Thank you to @tinytechfox and @JacobCounsell for featuring me and for all the work you put into building the BuildHop community.

“Why do you want to work here?” would be a very uncomfortable question to ask myself about the company I'm starting 🫠

HALF-WAY
Something a bit different today to celebrate the 50% mark of the challange.
I'm doing some live hopping on Buildhop.io
As you've probably noticed I'm either in a very grumpy time lately, or just old. But I'd rather be honest than sugarcoat.
If you actually like an honest feedback like this and would rather have someone tell you WhyDoesYourSiteSuck 😅 -- feel free to ask!
Even if I don't come out friendly in these videos I really love helping people.
Built something? Give people a way to find it after launch day.
We’re building BuildHop so founders can share their products, get feedback, and keep showing up as they improve.
Come add yours. I’d love to see what you’re working on 🐇
