I’ll absolutely fail any coding interview. Always have. But give me a problem and a model, not even a good one, and I’ll solve it. Pity companies haven’t caught up. The good news is, most of the market will end up like this as there are simply bigger problems so solve in a software stack, and this code nonsense is just a side effect.
Be real, you’re gonna pay most devs to talk to codex or Claude. How about you test them in the actual environment. But no. Let’s find the next leetcode

I've been reflecting on this. I'm generally a very optimistic person, but lately I've been feeling a strange sense of sadness that coding has been "solved".
I can, and have, made many caveats to "solved"... but I also know that in five years none of them will matter. It will be solved.
Building things is still fun, but a different kind of fun. It doesn't activate the same parts of my brain as trad coding did.
I think it's okay to mourn the thing we loved doing being different now. Software was the first job to go through the five AI stages of grief, which means we're also some of the first to internalize that this will happen to many other jobs.
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.
Or maybe some people buy a certain phone color because they like the color and don’t give a damn about showing that it is the new one, nor will they care if people know it’s old next year.
A lot of people that do that buy a new phone every year either way…
Buying exclusive colors is a HUGE trap.
People bought the orange 17 Pro last year to show off they have the NEW one.
And now, if you see someone holding an orange iPhone, you immediately know they have the OLD one.
On the other hand, if you’d bought a safe color last year, like Silver, it will still look new today.

Health doesn’t happen alone.
When one person starts paying attention to their health, it can change the people around them, too.
Today, we’re launching Together in health: a story about the people who make healthy habits contagious.
Follow along this week.
@thsottiaux Might be worth taking a look, felt like /goal ended up stuck in some loop checking and verifying the same thing over and over.
Wish I was surprised, but when I saw these guys and Weave on YC a year ago, I called out on LinkedIn that they were going to 🚀 it’s spot on 👏 congrats to them.
We’re announcing our $13.5M Series A led by @Standard_Cap.
AI has taken over engineering and companies are wasting millions. Weave gets you the most out of every dollar spent on tokens.
Have fun watching a man attempt to conquer his fears in the video.
Used so many different tools, and I finally think I found the one that covers everything I need in the best way possible. @orca_build is impressive. 🙌

For most of modern medicine, the question has been: what’s wrong with you?
We built Lucis to ask a different one: what if someone had looked earlier?
Today, we raised $20M Series A led by Singular, with General Catalyst and Y Combinator to serve Europe.

Did not expect a question that starts out 'Do you think before you speak?' to go so well. A+ question from Charlotte Harpur A++ response from Eileen Gu.

Coding is fun. It gets more fun the better you get. It HURTS to get there, but the grind is so worth it.
Puzzles all day er day
