We got EA Cricket 07 trending in India. I wish EA made another game for cricket. This one was made 20 years back and still so good. We only get garbage now in the name of cricket games.

If You Turn Back Now is both maybe the most authentically Dylanesque song i’ve ever heard by someone not named Bob Dylan and also just unbearably gorgeous and devastating on its own merits

Trouble is, no-one is interested in red-ball cricket played by traditional counties….oh, right - hang on a minute…
🏏BBC county championship cricket live text page gets 27.8 million page views across the summer, averaging 464K per day Thanks to all who’ve joined us to follow red-ball cricket this year 👏🏽😎

Rough tour on the pitch, pure comedy show off it The Windies 1975/76 tour of Australia shows just how much fun cricket used to be. 😂

Not exactly going to be surprising that they were all involved is it. Must be a reason every other cricketer releases a book when they retire and we are still waiting for Warner's. They could tell the difference of the ball at the Oval in 2023 but couldn't in Cape Town in 2018
Rather provocative comment from David Warner on @codesportsau Instagram post tonight 👀

Before the ECB. Before two divisions and before Sky. Before franchise cricket. More people loved cricket than today and more played. We grew up watching county cricket and Tests. It’s all about money now, nothing to do with heritage etc. TV has ruined the sport.

A packed Lord's for the final round of the Championship in 1920 when Middlesex beat Surrey in the decider in front of three days of full houses. The Championship, the highlight of the sporting summer, was finished by the end of August. In the modern era it too often feels little more than an inconvenient afterthought as far as the ECB are concerned

the funniest thing about all this, the British public wouldnt enlist for ww3, but they would definitely enlist to protect the falklands just out of principle
🚨🇫🇰 NEW: President Milei says Argentina will “take matters into [their] own hands” to gain control of the Falkland Islands [dubbed in English via @UN]
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The clip omits important context: In the full 23 Sep 2026 UN speech, Milei’s “take matters into our own hands” refers to sanctions on Sea Lion oil firms + a sovereignty bill amid UN inaction. He stressed a “peaceful, practical, and effective defense” and called for UK talks. gadebate.un.org/en/81/argentina

Let's be clear . Bowlers are very particular about the state of the ball . They knew exactly what was going on 👍
Eight years on from the ball tampering scandal that rocked the cricket world, Steve Smith admits that he still suffers flashbacks to the haunting days that changed his life forever. STORY | bit.ly/4gTQfRL

Thank you! This “British food is bad” myth is a hangover from WW2, when we were rationing. London is one of the best cities in the world for food, we’ve got every cuisine.
disgusted to report that the food is unbelievably good

No country in Europe has supermarkets on the level of M&S food
Going from Norwegian supermarkets to M&S food has me feeling like a rural villager dropped into Times Square. 5x the choice - and half the price. I don’t think the average Norwegian realises how bad they have it grocery-wise (Rema, Kiwi, Bunnpris etc)

Time and time again you have to ask, why do I as a fan care about investment money. There was a cash windfall paid out to the counties! Great! What can I get for it? Can I have first team cricket in August? Can I have a better Championship? Can I have cheaper Blast tickets?
