In a very special review-essay for @BSECS Criticks, Karen Lipsedge & Miriam Al Jamil use the @V_and_A's "Between Two Worlds" exhibition as a springboard into discussion of the need to uncover the forgotten & overlooked stories of the peoples & objects hiding in plain sight.
"Finding connections and resonances between the eighteenth and twenty-first centuries can be of merit and encourages reflexivity. The V&A’s display makes enigmatic and valuable contributions to the debate."

Museums will lose a lot of money over the next few months, many will edge into financial precarity. If you’re financially secure to weather this (I realise many of you are not) might I suggest you buy a museum catalogue? Choose a museum you love and buy a book. Every bit helps.

Inspired by the Frida Kahlo exhibit at @V_and_A, kids at @GreatOrmondSt have been using digital devices with @GOSH_Arts to explore the artist's unique approach to self-portraiture. 13-year-old Grace loved Frida's iconic flower crowns, so created her very own in her portrait! 🎨
