Have you checked oblivion? 'Cause I heard it was all obliterated. Admittedly, that came from highly, highly, just really incredibly highly unreliable sources.

The slogan on this placard is at least an improvement on Trump's "Delivering in two weeks"
Labor and delivery services are coming back to Greenbrier County. Gov. Patrick Morrisey announced a partnership between Vandalia Health and the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) on Thursday that will allow those services to return to the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Lewisburg. RIP to Sen. Rockefeller. Some of items the Center for Politics has from his campaigns—this would be mostly from the governor races earlier in his career.

When Rockefeller decided to retire, we talked about how he ended up in West Virginia — a journey that included somnolence at Harvard, stints with Peace Corps and State, and eventually season tickets to watch football with a Charleston, WV native. docs.google.com/document/d/1…

The CEO called it the best vehicle Tesla has ever made. I don't know about that, but I will say it tackled the automotive sales market in the same way it tackled mild off-road conditions.

Anxiously awaiting real world actions that track with online ephemera
.@PeteHegseth, cabinet secretaries shouldn't be wasting taxpayer dollars on campaign style videos. Kristi Noem learned that the hard way. This is about you: the incompetence you’ve displayed, the bad advice you’ve given to president, and your shameful and embarassing episodes from firing our top generals to texting war plans to reporters.

Halfway through the term, she's on pace to repatriate 68 out of tens of thousands of Ukrainian children. No wonder the Russian envoy at the White House yesterday was heaping praise on her!
So 34 children have been returned thanks to the award-winning FLOTUS, and this guy immediately pivots away from the question of how many more kidnapped children there are. Estimates generally range from 20,000 to over 35,000.

I didn't even realize Shelley lost Kanawha. That's a first. Also the first time in a while my vote affected the color of one of these maps. Trivia: in 3 races for the US Senate, her general election opponent has always been a woman.

One neighbor is still lighting up their inflatable Halloween ghost. Another's Christmas tree is ablaze, and the first municipal snowflakes and wreaths have been hung indifferently from the utility poles. It's that special time of year known as "kind of disorienting."

Between Two Tactical Houseplants
CENTCOM is now focused on producing an official podcast. Here's an exchange from the debut episode: FLEET MASTER CHIEF COMPTON: You are the original fry guy. You like French fries. Most people don't know this, but I did notice when we stationed together years ago, my lunch would come and I always had French fries... You at least take one or two... I don't think you ever knew that I knew you took my French fries. So is that your favorite food? French fries? ADMIRAL COOPER: We should let the world know. For years, I've been eating your French fries. The secret is now out. But yeah, I never met a French fry I didn't like.

Earlier, I tweeted about the outsized extralegal power that goes with extreme wealth. Power does still run into roadblocks sometimes.
“So you spent $250 million dollars on a senate seat?” “That’s right Dave” “And what happened to that Senate seat?” “We lost by 12, Dave”

Lara Trump: "It takes a long time to rebuild from the Biden years" 😆

The reason to tax the absurdly rich is not that the money will solve some social problem or build fantastic infrastructure. It's because the enormous wealth we're seeing accrue comes with outsized extralegal power that is anathema to even a nominally egalitarian society.

Her point is worth pondering. I'm very jaded when it comes to Vance and the kind of person he is, so it's easy to dismiss his posts like those of so many unserious online nonentities. I appreciate the reminder that he's the sitting VP and how deeply lacking he is in that role.
I know a lot of folks are talking about the election results, but this tweet, from a sitting @VP, is stunning. The decision to go to war is the most solemn responsibility that a President and Vice President have as leaders. So for you to reduce it to a simple political calculation while we still have 50,000 troops in the Middle East, is one of the most crass, cynical things I've seen. You and President Trump got us into this war, without a clear objective and without regard for the will of the American people. It's cost us American lives and billions of dollars of American treasure, with no end in sight. Last night, the American people delivered a crystal-clear message about the mismanagement of this war, and what it has done to our pocketbooks. Whether you supported the war or simply failed to stop it, your job is not to try and cover yourself, but to get us out of it.
