A child placed in foster care alleges a group home employee sexually abused him at ages 12–13. He says he reported it to a supervisor, but no investigation followed and the abuse continued.
Now, a California appeals court has reversed the dismissal of his negligence lawsuit against Alameda County. The county’s immunity defense did not justify dismissal at this stage. His case can proceed; liability remains undecided.
American Made Foundation’s Family First Coalition proposed Florida Family Integrity & Child Protection Act would strengthen reporting, supervisory review and accountability to help protect children from failures like those alleged here.
Florida lawmakers must take it up and pass it next session.
Children placed in state care deserve protection and answers when that protection fails.

Reform must also include a willingness to revisit convictions when evidence of innocence has gone unheard.
Our call for mercy is also a call for the truth to receive the attention it deserves. For Douglas, every passing year means more birthdays, anniversaries, and grandchildren’s milestones he cannot get back.
We believe President Trump’s heart for mercy can turn that hope into a homecoming. We’re still praying, still speaking up, and still believing our family’s years apart can end very soon.

NEW: Tulsi Gabbard just responded to Dan Bongino’s cryptic message about the FBI...and her answer says EVERYTHING.
She didn’t deny the darkness.
But made it clear that she’s fighting it every day.
Glenn Beck brought up Bongino’s viral X post:
“What I found out, at my time at the FBI has shocked me down to the core. We cannot run a republic like this, and I’ll never be the same after learning what I’ve learned.”
He asked Gabbard: “Have you felt that way being there?”
Her reply was sobering.
She torched the permanent state state within the intel community for serving their own interests, rather than the Constitution.
“I have seen up close and personal the tactics that are used by those who care more for themselves, their ambition, their job, their influence, their political interests, their selfish, self-serving interests, than they care about the Constitution.”
She reminded Beck that every person in law enforcement and intel takes the same oath:
“Just like I have both in uniform, in the military, and as a member of Congress and as Director of National Intelligence—to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
That’s why, she said, “what we are doing matters so much.”
“So, yes, I have my own frustrations, trust me. But my resolve is focused, and is rooted in my love for our country and my belief in the values and principles that our country was founded upon.”
“It is a heavy responsibility, but it’s also an awesome one. And I spend every day doing my best to fulfill it.”

Driving home from Nashville a few days ago, the wife wanted to stop in Franklin to do a bit of Christmas shopping. Obedient to her wishes as I am, I make the detour and park. As we strolled along the square, I see an older man sitting alone on a bench. Being the sort who initiates conversation with strangers, I say jokingly:
“You look like a man who is waiting for his wife while she spends his money.”
He gives me a wan smile and replies: “I wish I was.” His voice cracks. “She passed away last November.”
We stop. I extend a sympathetic hand. He shakes it and rises to greet us. Lauri asks him about his wife, and he tells us what a wonderful woman she was and of their 50 years of marriage. His eyes welling with tears, he says he comes to the square and sits on that bench daily to reminisce about her because it was their spot for decades. He seems glad to have someone, even strangers, with whom he can talk.
We chat a bit longer, exchange numbers, and I ask him if we can pray for him. A believer, he readily accepts the offer. So, right there on the square in Franklin we pray for the Lord’s comforting presence and peace in his loss. We open our eyes and, at that very moment, a woman walks by hurriedly and reaches for the bench behind this fellow. Only I see it, and I think she might be stealing his phone which he had left on the bench when he rose to speak with us.
I walk to the bench to investigate and see that she’s left a card, a little plastic dove glued on it, proclaiming the hope of John 3:16. I look up to see her far down the sidewalk, her brisk pace undiminished, placing them everywhere in her own evangelistic endeavor. God bless her for it.
Lauri and I wished our new friend well and proceeded to shop. I bought a new vest at her encouragement — “It looks good on you” — and she bought some aromatic candles — “cinnamon vanilla.” But all the while we were thinking of this man and the seemingly coincidental nature of our meeting. The Lord had used us to visibly encourage him.
I cannot tell you the number of times I have had such encounters simply because I spoke to a stranger: a taxi driver who told me someone had murdered his daughter; a waitress who cried when I told her she was doing a good job; a contractor who, just last week, revealed to me how the Lord had delivered him from meth addiction when I was sharing the Gospel with him; and a young woman who looked unsettled and I simply asked her what troubled her so.
There are people all around you who carry secret burdens, and the Lord puts you in their path for a reason. Do you notice them? Or do you press on to “more important” things? Pray that the Lord gives you eyes to see them and the heart to minister to them. It will do you as much good as you do them.

President Bukele brings receipts.

Cancer is exploding. The CDC and FDA data is horrific. Your fitness level, diet, age, or genetics no longer matter. It’s taking out children as young as 7 to 10 years old. The vaccine reduces your T B and P53 cells that fight off cancer. This is why we have Turbo Cancer when some people become ill and don’t even make it their first oncology appointment. The cells in your body have changed if you had covid or the vax. Get your ALC CBC and CMP tested often. Take this seriously. Covid has changed the ability to fight off cancer in some people.
