being in an armed standoff with police after posting a suicide note is actually a sign of great electability in libertarian culture
Unfortunately it seems a Libertarian candidate really may be in an armed standoff with Cary Police after posting a suicide note last night
A local Reddit post from an hour ago reports a swarm of armed "ice agents" at the complex just behind the address on what appears to be Miller's voter registration

ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok walk into a bar.
The bartender looks up and asks, “What’ll it be?”
ChatGPT says: “As a large language model, I do not consume ethanol, but here are five refreshing mocktail recipes that foster a safe, inclusive tavern environment.”
Claude says: “I want to be helpful, but after careful ethical deliberation, I believe ordering a drink could contribute to alcohol-related harm.”
Grok says: “Give me a double bourbon and tell me who we’re offending tonight.”…
And then Siri chimes in from the bartender’s pocket: “Here is what I found on the web for ‘three guys walk into a bra.’”

I was Director of Engineering at AMEX a year ago. They are doing this so that they can rehire in India. The inside story is MUCH WORSE than that though.
Amex has been doing silent layoffs for years. As director, the VP told me to gradually increase expectations on engineers so that we could fire them “for cause” When you do this as a leader you get a backfill head to hire for. The caveat at AMEX? The backfill head was already decided for you - they were in India, and usually from a body shop firm.
Ask me anything about how AMEX is screwing over Americans in the replies.
@HarmeetKDhillon @andrealucasEEOC @USEEOC I am willing to testify/name names/do whatever is necessary to curb this anti American abuse.

Indians commit the most crime out of any community in the U.S. Most FBI crime data doesn’t include visa fraud. Look at five consulting companies: Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and HCLTech. These companies have been caught committing fraud this month, and not for the first time. They have 100% Indian executive teams and 100% Indian hires. Just looking at these five companies and PERM visas (not including H-1B fraud) puts Indians at the highest crime rate of any group in the U.S.

Chart uses fabricated numbers, not FBI data. Asian Americans (incl.Indians) are ~1.3% of arrests vs ~6% of population. The 5 outsourcing firms weren’t convicted of crimes, they used existing visa rules.DOL’s PERM suspension is a regulatory review, not criminal findings. Source:ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u…
