I wish more Republicans understood this. Education is one of our country's few genuinely existential problems. Our K through PhD system is a vast communism factory. It barely gets mentioned in our political debates.
“Why does this keep happening on college campuses?” Universities are not a side quest for communist revolutions. They are the headquarters. They are the brain trust. They are the recruiting farm. Communist revolutions are spawned on campus.

The important word in the tweet.
Elon Musk has plowed nearly half a billion dollars into elections in the 2026 cycle, a spending spree that makes him the single, largest disclosed donor in modern American politics and one of the Republican Party's largest-ever benefactors. cnn.it/3V0Yu6h

You should IPO in the Netherlands! Sure, the taxes are higher, but the regulations are also stricter. You'll need to fulfill diversity quotas but you also submit 50,000 pages a year of environmental impact studies. There's less capital here but also you pay $5b/yr in fines.
TRENDING: Dutch politician Queeny Rajkowski suggests inviting Anthropic to IPO in the Netherlands so they can regulate their AI models and tax them🇳🇱

The criminal clock can run out. The immigration file doesn't. Most federal crimes, including marriage fraud under 8 U.S.C. 1325(c), carry a 5-year statute of limitations. But if a marriage is found to have been entered to evade immigration law, INA 204(c) permanently bars any later petition for that spouse. No expiration date.

Legacy media will never run this list, so I will. 2018, Flint, Michigan: Elon funded filtration systems for schools with unsafe water. Over $480K. 2018, Thailand: SpaceX engineers built a mini-submarine within days to help rescue a boys' soccer team trapped in a flooded cave. 2020, COVID: He sourced and delivered ventilators and supplies to hospitals for free. 2021: He gave Tesla shares worth about $5.7 billion to charity. 2021: He funded a $100M XPRIZE for carbon removal, one of the largest incentive prizes ever. 2022: Starlink kept Ukrainians connected when their networks went down. 2022, Tonga: Starlink helped reconnect the island after a volcano cut its undersea cable. Wildfires, hurricanes, earthquakes: Starlink terminals keep showing up for rescuers and families. And the biggest one, the one that's easy to miss: he's spent his fortune and 20+ years building clean energy, safer cars, and a future for humanity among the stars. They call him a villain. The record says otherwise.

There's a strange thing that happens online and in real world conversations, where understanding or explaining an idea or phenomenon is interpreted as SUPPORTING it. As a result, people pretend to not understand things, lest they be seen as advocating them.

Well, I am an Arab, and at @idicenter we have more than 50 Arabs involved, and all of us agree with Robert Kennedy. We don’t call him a racist or a bigot for describing the fact that 500 million Arabs have failed to achieve even 1% of what 15 million Jews have. On the contrary, Arabs have given the world little except war, terror, and millions of immigrants living off social services. The few Arabs who managed to succeed are those who abandoned their Arabism, which is an Islamized identity, and embraced Westernism.
RFKs racist rant against Arabs was despicable. It was personally offensive since Alex Azar and myself —both Arab Americans —were his predecessors. I am proud of my Arab heritage. He is a bigot and a racist.

Holy. Shit. The NYT is reporting that despite their denials, Mary Peltola's staff and Democratic operatives flew all over Alaska in secret to find and recruit a man named Dan Sullivan. They put him on the ballot to purposefully steal votes from Republican Dan Sullivan.

I used to review officer-involved shooting reports generated by a D.A. explaining the decision to exonerate officers, and recall often thinking “I mean, could that *really* be how it went down?” I suspected there may be some fog of war or selective memory or post-hoc justification to give the officer a rational justification and paint the victim in a negative, irrational light. But with the post-2020 adoption of body cams, I now believe it all. There is no behavior too insane for a huge number of suspects when confronted with literally any command by an officer requesting some form of compliance. Even I thought body cams would shine a light on some substantial percentage of clear officer abuse, but it’s clearly negligible, while dangerous and erratic behavior by suspects is widespread. It is impossible to overstate how wrong BLM and reform activists were on this count.

Census numbers get used for all sorts of things besides voting that need to be scaled by residents, illegal or no. You wouldn't want local emergency services or schools cut back bc there are lots of illegals in your area.

There was once a shepherd who found a wolf caught in a snare at the edge of his pasture. The wolf begged to be freed. “I was hungry,” it said. “That is all. Spare me, and I will remember your mercy!” The shepherd cut the rope. The next night, three lambs were gone. Again the shepherd found the wolf. Again it pleaded. Again the shepherd convinced himself that mercy was proof of his goodness. By winter, half the flock was dead. An old farmer finally asked him, “Why do you keep freeing it?” The shepherd answered, “Because I refuse to become cruel.” The farmer looked at the empty field and said, “Then understand what you have done. You were not merciful to the wolf. You were cruel to everything that trusted you to keep them safe.” That’s the lesson. Mercy without judgment isn’t virtue. When someone openly intends to destroy what has been entrusted to you, endless forgiveness doesn’t make you righteous. It makes everyone behind you pay for your vanity.
