1/ Kenyans keep bragging about being the biggest Economy is Eastern Africa. And yet we have 5 of the biggest slums in the World.
I can't reconcile with KNBS data like Unemployment Rate being 6.2% ( KNBS have the audacity to give it to one decimal place)
Those are more than 2m poor Kenyans in Nairobi alone.
You haven't added Mombasa which is 95% Slums. Only Nyali is middle Class.
Total could be 5 Million slum dwellers out of 25 million working age Kenyans and getting worse each year with median age of 19 years.

Mohamed Haji alias Macalin Ilkacase was a college teacher. Hassan Hanafi was a top journalist in Mogadishu. Nageye Khalif was a respected somali poet. They were all undercover Al Shabaab commanders.
Samira you are a security expert, dont define people by their day duties, you have no idea what they do at night and under the cover of darkness in the streets of Mogadishu.
These are Somali journalists with substantial public profiles and large followings. Establishing their identities and obtaining reliable, conclusive information about them should have been relatively straightforward through basic verification.
It is very concerning that their photos are publicly posted without providing any context or clarification.
I can feel the boiling from this tweet and response.
These are guys that are intune with national security threats.

This is all based on the idea that Salvadoran troops are good at fighting gangs, which, they're about to get a big reality check. Bukele's success is based on negotiating with gangs, not military superiority. Not a single drug war has been won militarily.
