Hur kommer det sig att ena sidan i konflikten får diskriminera utan att någon påpekar det? När judar bygger hus i Judeen och Samarien kallas det för ‘olagliga bosättningar’ och ‘etnisk rensning’ medan araber kan fördriva alla judar från Hebron utan att det kallas för exakt samma sak. Förekommer våld från bosättare? Ja, och det bör adresseras. Är uppgifterna kraftigt överdrivna? Ja. Utnyttjas falska fakta i frågan av Israels fiender och av antisemiter världen över? Ja. Lyssna (för en gångs skull) på vad den andra sidan har att säga.

Judar världen över har svårt att inte se ironin. Historiskt så har araberna inte ett spår mer anspråk på Israel än de har på Frankrike. Men nu när Frankrike plundras och bränns under palestinsk flagg så känns det nog bra för Israeler att undra om inte samma förnedrande ställningstagande Israeler blivit utsatta för, om det inte är dags för en tvåstatslösning? Macron har ju "erkänt palestina". En fiktiv entitet som skapades 1965 av Yassir Arrafat med målet att ge nationell identitet till araber som ville utplåna Israel och med syftet att lura västvärlden att araber som vägrar erkänna Israel en har legitimima krav. Samma fiktiva enhet kan väl lika bra ha anspråk på Frankrike? Där är ju våld från både polisen och dem som viftar med palestinaflagga och plundrar och bränner? Då är väl en tvåstatslösning en bra idé? Men budskapet går djupare än på ironins plan. Detta är samtidigt en ömsint varning till Frankrike att de faktiskt inte förstått något väldigt grundläggande i mellanösternkonflikten. Nämligen att de krafter som vill utplåna Israel vill utplåna västvärlden inklusive Frankrike med samma intensitet. Och sen införa sharialag där alla ikke-muslimer blir andra klassens medborgare.

Israel: The only country in history that is told to retaliate proportionally when its people are massacred and raped at scale. The Palestinians: The only group of people in history that were given a state multiple times, rejected it each time, and then proceeded to yell how they want a state. Israel: The only country in history that is smaller than New Jersey yet leads the way in technology and is still accused of ruining the world. The Palestinians: The only group of people in history that openly and overwhelmingly support terror and are still perceived as peaceful people. Israel: The only country in history that has archeological evidence of a nation living there, a nation that is now told that they are not indigenous to the land. The Palestinians: The only group of people in history that has been caught red handed sharing fake propaganda videos and casualty numbers that are then quoted by otherwise reliable sources. Israel: The only country in history that is the recipient of unprecedented global hatred and is still believed to control the banks, the media, and the western world. The Palestinians: The only group of people in history that states clearly in writing what it wants, and is still told, despite its own admission, that all they want is to live in peace. The reality is that the Israel story is so preposterous, that if I walked into a movie production company with the script, they’d tell me to come back with a more realistic script. When it comes to Israel and the Jews, all logic, reason, and critical thinking goes out the window. The good news is, we’ve been down this road before and we know how it ends. Hint: How many Babylonians do you know? How about Byzantines? Crusaders? Assyrians? Exactly. They’re gone and the Jews are here and stronger than ever. Am Yisrael Chai is not just an empty phrase. På årsdagen av Hamas massaker den 7 oktober hyllades massmord, våld, terror och Hamas helt öppet i Sverige. Demonstranter viftade med Hamasflaggor och bilder på terrorledarna Yahya Sinwar och Abu Obeida i Göteborg. I Stockholm demonstrerade man med en skylt där ordet ”Gaza” medvetet utformats för att associera till den ökända ”Arbeit macht frei”-skylten vid förintelselägret Auschwitz. En man i Gestapoliknande skinnrock, med en sedelbunt och en blodig Netanyahu-mask, ledde gruppen. Den typen av jämförelser är ett exempel på antisemitism enligt IHRA-definitionen, som Sverige har antagit. Så har det sett ut i tre år. Politiker deklarerar att kampen mot antisemitismen är en högsta prioritet – men inga ingripanden sker. Hur länge ska detta få fortsätta innan polis och rättsväsende agerar?
