There are plenty of reasons to oppose the NDAA, and this is one of the most important. We should not be integrating the U. S. military and the military of any other country. Remove Section 1217 (formerly Section 219).
"Section 219 creates a multi-generational technological relationship with one partner that would be very difficult to rollback once incorporated into U.S. development and acquisition systems. It is a pure political maneuver with great risk to the U.S.; it is not necessary and is, in fact, dangerous." "At this point, to protect sensitive U.S. technological development and to ensure congressional oversight is not further abdicated, the House should make clear it won’t vote for an NDAA that comes out of conference if it includes this provision, and the Senate should remove or amend its corresponding Section 1217 from the FY27 NDAA." - via Responsible Statecraft

I do not like you, Sam-I-am. You will not have my fucking RAM.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman believes people owning RAM is wasteful, and that it belongs in data centers instead. "From a global allocation perspective, actually, it’s quite terrible to have everyone have a bunch of the world’s limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer."

You may have heard about Brazil, Flavio Bolsonaro, and Justice Alexandre de Moraes, who ordered his passport seized minutes after he lost the runoff. On Wednesday, Flavio landed in Miami. What you probably don't know is that this story didn't start this week. Not even this year. We spoke at length with Brazilians to reconstruct what happened to their country. What we found: a tax audit that reached two justices' homes. An inquiry the Court opened to police its own critics. A banned social network. A banker whose parties, investigators say, flew in women from Europe for politicians, and who texted Alexandre de Moraes on the day of his arrest. 🧵

You can cancel an election and ban the winner from running (Romania), you can ban your opponents from ever running again (Hungary), you can threaten to ban the main opposition party and subject it to relentless investigations by the secret police (Germany), you can threaten a ban on the leading presidential candidate and make them wear an ankle monitor (France), every member of your circle can be investigated for corruption (Spain), you can try and cancel local elections because you will lose them (Britain), and you can storm the constitutional court with riot police because you want to control it (Poland). You can just do all these things. The secret is you just have to be on the right side of the European Commission.

Never forget: They’re not building a surveillance state because WE are the criminals. They’re building it because THEY are the criminals. And they'll weaponize it against ANYONE who dare challenge their power, privilege, and impunity.

Our second product is called Blindsight and it will, as the name suggests, enable even those who are completely blind or have never seen to see. It is ready from an engineering standpoint. Just waiting on regulatory approval.
Neuralink’s first product is called Telepathy. It enables high-speed communication with computers or humans simply by thinking. Output bandwidth will vastly exceed the fastest human speech or typing in a few years. Read that sentence again.

We don't talk enough about how the Biden administration tried to set up a dystopian Ministry of Truth and how all of the Democrats in Congress cheered it on.

AI is literally saving lives right now: • UC San Diego's AI sepsis model cut sepsis deaths by 17%. • In a trial of 100,000+ women in Sweden, AI-supported screening found 29% more cancers. • In a randomized trial involving 60,893 hospital encounters, an AI warning system reduced the hazard of in-hospital death by 35.6%. • In a randomized trial of nearly 16,000 patients, AI-powered ECG alerts reduced 90-day mortality from 4.3% to 3.6%. I've never seen technology this useful arrive this fast, and this is just the beginning. These guys are doubling down: You can now have agents working inside hospitals, learning from patients, helping doctors make decisions, and keeping the information secure.
Today, we’re introducing the next chapter of Concurrence and the world’s greatest leap toward Superintelligent Care. When I was 13 I lost my mom to cancer that should’ve been caught earlier. We’re building a system that sees every patient’s future in time to change the outcome

Without government, who would raid your home because you complained to an airline that they were flying to low over your property?
The FBI raided the home of a homesteading disabled veteran in Arizona. Why? Because he complained to United Airlines about flight school doing drills very low, directly above his home.

Aaron Siri just revealed the real reason why New York launched a massive legal attack on unvaccinated Amish communities. “These kids are healthy.” “They don’t suffer from any of the chronic diseases that plague American children.” “If this was about health, New York State should be looking at these kids as models and asking, why are they healthier?” “Why do these… Amish children not suffer from the chronic health conditions that are plaguing over 40% [of children] according to the CDC?” “Some data reflects even higher.” “This is up from under 10% of kids having a chronic health condition in America in the early ’80s.” “What’s changed?” “Maybe they should take a look at this community instead of trying to force upon them the same type of lifestyle that… has resulted in that increase.” @AaronSiriSG

I remember sitting around a campfire shortly after the Ukraine war had just started with some Ukrainian friends. They shared that after they learned that Russian forces were jamming all communications they called Elon begging for Starlink support. Elon and the Starlink team instantly dropped everything they were working on, loaded a private jet with as many Starlink terminals as they could (terminals were in short supply at the time), and started flying the jet eastward while writing code to make terminals work over Ukraine. There was no contract or promise of payment for doing so, and no time to solve for that. My Ukrainian friends believed this saved the nation of Ukraine, and that without this effort Ukraine would have lost the war nearly instantly.

He just described every war of the modern era.
What’s actually going on in Ukraine is that there is a massive incentive difference between the elites and the people. The former have grown very rich off the hundreds of billions flowing to Ukraine, while the latter’s children are conscripted to die in trenches.

Want to have your mind blown? In 1971, the median household income was $9,030, or 220 ounces of gold. In 2025, it was $87,460, or just 25 ounces of gold. Your paycheck went up 10x. Measured in gold, it fell 88%. To earn what the median household earned in 1971, you’d need about $890,000 per year today. That’s what fiat debasement looks like.

Slotkin is a CIA transplant who got inserted into the US congress as part of a pilot program to get former spooks into elected office to subvert populism She’s a fairly unremarkable sociopathic narcissist (typical for CIA) and she’s just doing DARVO tactics here, its boring
U.S. Sen. Elissa Slotkin says she’s prepared for a situation in which the Trump administration attempts to change the outcome of the election: “Right in the last two weeks of the election, they somehow come up with a national security incident that only they can protect us from.”

repeal the 17th amendment! And maybe there would be a chance that you won’t have a candidate who hates the first and fourth amendment versus a candidate who hates the second amendment With both hating the 9th and 10th amendments
Abdul El-Sayed on the Second Amendment: "When they promised the right to bear arms, they had muskets. So, yeah, everyone should have equal rights to a musket."
