Ouster will be at Off-road Autonomy & Robotics 2026 in Munich, October 28 to 29. Off-highway machines work where autonomy is hardest: dust, vibration, mud, and terrain with no lane lines or reliable GPS.
Roman Katz from Ouster will take the stage on October 29th at 1:30pm to cover where the off-road market is heading, with deployment examples from Komatsu and Volvo Autonomous Solutions.

🚨 $OUST Stereolabs introduces the ZED Box 2 Series, a new generation of industrial edge AI computer.
These computers are engineered for autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), robot vision, and spatial AI systems requiring high-throughput multi-camera perception and edge processing.
"Robot vision shouldn’t take five suppliers," said Edwin Azzam, CTO and co-founder of Stereolabs. “With ZED Box 2 Series, we provide robotics developers with the unified compute, cameras, lidar, and perception software that come from one team that tests them together and stands behind all of it. Plug in your cameras and you can have reliable 360° perception in minutes, not weeks."

Good point. But ADAS needs to be compared with other ADAS, and L4/robotaxis with other L4/robotaxis.
Most human drivers might not have seen this pedestrian crossing the road either, but that doesn’t mean Tesla’s decision to design FSD as a vision-only system wasn’t a design oversight.
My argument is simple: FSD’s camera-only design was a flaw in this accident, and LiDAR could have prevented it. That’s the point I was making.
$OUST, $AEVA, $INVZ, $MVIS: For those who think all LiDAR companies are equal in their ability to win the business of the future, based on bits of news today, look at what the real dynamics show.
They are not the same. Stability and lasting financial support to develop the next device are constants required not just to compete but to survive a technical upgrade cycle in Capex but also in R&D.
Secondly, shareholders feed the narrative with equity sales, but the narrative must lead to results, or it remains just prints of presentations.
Look at the last six months. Ouster generated $103.2M in revenue and used operating cash equal to 19.4% of sales. $INVZ generated $25.2M and used cash equal to 114.3% of sales; $MVIS generated $2.4M and used cash equal to 1,477.9% of sales. Then look at how a low price creates the illusion of value despite the trailing EBITDA losses.
The operating evidence is a clean knockout of the idea that $INVZ and $MVIS are the same as Ouster.
Everyone has an opportunity to dream, but investment dreams only succeed with the long game of value creation, not storytelling.
Finally, the recent selling creates the perception of a structural crisis at Ouster, but in reality it is the rotation away from AI spending fueled by mountains of debt.
This moves blocks of value out of anything stamped “AI” in the stampede of algorithmic selling. But knowing what you own delivers conviction for the future. This is not my first rodeo, and likely not the last. These tables show where your money should be going and where it should not. Know what you own. $OUST

Power plants, refineries, and other critical infrastructure age from the inside out, in places that are hard and hazardous for people to inspect. Gecko Robotics sends robots into those spaces, and Ouster digital lidar is part of how they navigate complex industrial environments and build high-fidelity digital twins of the assets they inspect.
We're proud to support @geckorobotics in their mission to build, sustain, and modernize the world's most critical infrastructure.

BREAKING: Further espionage insanity from China
China owns the cars Norway’s soldiers rented for a military exercise. The cars proceeded to recorded the gate codes.
The Home Guard used Hertz vehicles during a September drill in Oslo. Hertz’s ownership runs through Volvo to Zhejiang Geely. Soldiers found stored video of who got in, where they drove, and the codes they typed to open military gates. They kept using the cars. No replacements.
Volvo still says Chinese ownership is not a risk.
This is where reliance on Chinese tech leads you.
Norwegian soldiers discovered that Chinese-owned Volvo rental cars recorded and stored videos during a major military exercise in Oslo from September 14–18.
The footage captured soldiers entering and leaving vehicles, their movements, locations and even security codes used to access restricted areas.
Despite the discovery, the military continued using the cars due to a lack of alternatives.

$OUST is my picks-and-shovels way to own Physical AI, selling 3D perception into warehouses, logistics and autonomous systems without needing to guess whether $TSLA, $CCXI, Figure or any other robot maker wins.
Safe perception is what lets robots scale reliably and Ouster wins as that happens regardless of which manufacturer leads the market.
You can already see that starting to happen with Q2 revenue up 56% to ~$55M across 17,000+ lidar and camera sensors at ~$3,200 per unit on average while Stereolabs broadens stack beyond lidar alone.

Lethality starts here.
Last week, at Aberdeen Proving Ground, the Army showcased the next generation of capabilities built for one purpose: ensuring our warfighters dominate and destroy the enemy on any battlefield. @SecWar made it clear that autonomy is not just the future of warfare. It’s how we win.

As someone who has a brain (and dealt with point cloud data for several years professionally)...
This is the most intellectually dishonest way to present the limitations of LIDAR.
It's presenting a 2D projection of a 3D space with anything that could be used as context stripped
