Gurgaon has spent more than INR 10000 crs or more than a billion dollars on waste management in the last decade. To put this money in perspective, the largest waste management company in India has an asset base of nearly 10% of this money and manages bio-mining and waste management in more than 10 cities of India. With this kind of money, every ward of Gurgaon could have had a functioning material recovery facility centre, segmented waste-processing facilities and closed land-fill for methane harvesting. But, 40% of this money spent never made it for the purpose and the rest went into untraceable / non-productive activities. Every state in India, more so Haryana, needs a waste management BOARD to define protocols, guidelines, SOPs and approaches (like we have in electricity / water boards). But syndicates in Gurgaon like cities shun such reforms because that will stop milking this cash-cow. That is also the reason, no formal organisation is keen to bid for waste management tenders in Gurgaon. Waste Management crisis of Gurgaon is a crisis of accountability and governance not so much of resources. People need to demand it only then they will get it. @MunCorpGurugram
This is exactly the question. The data speaks for itself. If this kind of crazy money is flowing like river and still our surroundings are draining in filth then who is to blame? @MunCorpGurugram @CPCB_OFFICIAL @CAQM_Official @VipulGoelBJP @moefcc @MoHUA_India

In 1983, a BBC interviewer asked Richard Feynman why two magnets push each other apart — and he refused to answer it. What he did instead is the best seven minutes on thinking ever filmed. Bookmark & watch today, no matter what.

For those of us who went to school in the 70s and 80s, Indrajal Comics were a very popular light reading! Phantom, Mandrake, Bahadur, Flash Gordon and others were favorites... Especially Phantom (Ghost Who Walks!).
The Phantom turns ninety today. Time passes and generations change, but the Ghost Who Walks remains eternal. Celebrating his ninety years feels like celebrating a part of my own journey, the dreams, the inspiration, and the quiet strength he planted within me long ago.

Focus on Yuva Shakti, employability and skilling can drive self-employment, especially in Tier-2 & Tier-3 India. Why the AI Bubble could be the Largest Burst Ever? Sheer Size: Dot-com lost ~$5T; 2008 erased $10T+ in housing derivatives. AI's ecosystem? $2T+ in Nvidia alone, plus $1T+ from hyperscalers—total exposure could exceed $20T when you factor in VC bets and other funds.

"Celebrities can’t shed responsibility by saying they’re only recommending what worked for them when they’re fully aware of the dangers of celebrity culture and fanbases." "In the past, Dr Philips has called out other stars too like Virat Kohli for saying that non-vegetarian food was causing acidity and leading to “calcium leaking from his bones”. Not only did Dr Philips debunk Kohli’s assertion, but he also called him and Prabhu “science and health illiterate”. Rightfully so, in my opinion." A timely write up for @ThePrintIndia by Akanksha Mishra. Please read here: theprint.in/opinion/pov/dear…
