BIG DAY. Introducing Standard Schema 1.0!
It's a specification for a "common interface" to be implemented by all TypeScript schema libraries, written collaboratively by the the creators of Zod (👋), Valibot, and ArkType to promote interoperability.

We got GMail (full interface) working in @ladybirdbrowser, let's fricken gooooooo! 🚀
This one is nice because I've been told by many people "you'll never be able to handle modern web apps like GMail"
Don't listen to armchair defeatists. We can build whatever we want! 🤓

Replying to @Jonathan_Blow
And we found an even faster way to do it (the Shadertoy community is awesome):

🇺🇸 🚀 [Artemis] NASA na Księżyc za szybko nie dotrze
Głównym tematem ostatniej konferencji było omówienie problemów osłony termicznej Oriona. Uwagę wszystkich przykuło jednak przesunięcie oficjalnych dat misji Artemis II i III.
Do nowych też bym się nie przywiązywał...

Found a neat CSS trick to automatically swap between black or white text based on any arbitrary background color!
With relative color syntax, you can use calc to adjust the text color depending if the background is above or below 50% lightness in the LCH color space.

Why does every project feel like it's never delivered on time based on initial estimates?
Dave Stewart explains the hidden work within the work in an excellent visual.

RELEASE DAY
After almost 10 years of hard work, tireless research, and a dive deep into the kernels of computer science, I finally realized a dream: running a high-level language on GPUs. And I'm giving it to the world!
Bend compiles modern programming features, including:
- Lambdas with full closure support
- Unrestricted recursion and loops
- Fast object allocations of all kinds
- Folds, ADTs, continuations and much more
To HVM2, a new runtime capable of spreading that workload across 1000's of cores, in a thread-safe, low-overhead fashion. As a result, we finally have a true high-level language that runs natively on GPUs!
Here's a quick demo:

So based on the responses I guess this was not as common knowledge as I assumed. Using pin and relax is a great way to straighten a lot of UV layouts in #Blender without plugins.

Ever wondered how the mayor of tristram felt like?
We made a new game for #LDJam #LD55 to find out! Bippinbits and friends, with music by @cameronpmusic and sounds by @MartinKvale.

The work is never just “the work”. The actual “work” you have to do, is just a very small part of a whole invisible set of a project. There’s the world around the work, to get the work, before the work, between the work, beyond the work, outside the work, etc.

#tinyCSStip One thing that has always annoyed me about `:empty` is that it doesn't work for elements that have text content, but no element children.
`:has()` fixes this problem.
`:not(:has(*))` selects elements that don't have element children, even if they have text content.

TIL that you can use this neat trick to prevent line breaks between inline text and leading or trailing icons:

To powinien być standard przy zwolnieniach jak w Epicu.
Przy masowych zwolnieniach nie są winni pracownicy tylko zarząd, który podejmował złe decyzje. No ale wiadomo. Szefostwo odpowiada tylko za dobre rzeczy, za które dostaje premie:>
