Following the recent decision from Haas F1 Team confirming that I will not be participating in this weekend’s Mexico City Grand Prix, I wish to formally address some media reports and speculation surrounding the situation.
Last night, a difference in viewpoints led to a discussion with the parties involved. Whilst I acknowledge that this took place, I categorically reject any reports or allegations suggesting that any form of physical violence was used to resolve any differences of any nature.
I strongly condemn violence in all its forms and firmly believe that disagreements should always be handled with professionalism, respect, and mutual understanding.
I kindly ask that speculation be avoided while the matter is being addressed.
Further updates will be communicated in due course.

Querido Esteban Ocon, nunca mereciste cómo te trataron en la Fórmula 1.
Desde las promesas rotas cuando eras un piloto joven en la academia de Mercedes, a cómo te sacaron de Force India / Racing Point, a todo lo que soportaste en Renault / Alpine que nunca te supieron valorar incluso después de darles su primera victoria en años, y ahora la grosería absoluta de Haas que ni siquiera te permitió terminar la temporada y tener una despedida digna.
De los pocos pilotos que vienen desde abajo y que todo lo que consiguieron fue por puro mérito. Siempre recibiste más críticas de lo que merecías, nunca apreciaron tu talento, y es un hecho que la Fórmula 1 te va a extrañar. Un caballero, un excelente piloto, un gran ser humano.
Ojalá te veamos de vuelta en la parrilla con una escudería que no te de por sentado. Te queremos Estie Bestie @OconEsteban 🤍
