Hi, I just got an email form Vimeo. I'm in the same boat. What solution did you go with? Are you still with Vimeo? I have over 1000 videos.

it looks as though the server upgrade has finished. You should be able to log in.

I have this problem too. Vimeo said they are aware of this. But this problem has persisted for several days.
