still sad about this, would have been fun seeing him in Tolhuistuin which is a great small venue. album is great too. pop music has so many great things happening right now that just get drowned out, especially since “pop fans” have such a limited appreciation of the genre

Hey everyone. Sad news to share but I’m cancelling the tour. To be completely frank, the budget has been fudgey.. the tickets aren’t selling enough …and the show just isn’t ready to the standard I want it to be. Especially for something I’m embarking on in 3 weeks. I join a bunch of artists who are having to cancel their tours (via notes app, mind you- ew!) due to high production costs, over-ambitious planning, and weighing up whether being at a loss is worth it or not - all for the show to not be done justice. I was really looking forward to performing BULLDOZER!! on tour. I’m super proud of the album and I worked really hard on it - but I have no interest in doing this tour if I can’t do it right. I look forward to trying this again when I can give this album, and you guys, the show you deserve. Thank you to everyone who did buy tickets, your appreciation is appreciated and I don’t take it for granted!! They will be refunded ASAP & I will be back!! Love, Uzo ❤️
