Nearly 270 hours of work went into creating this piece โ a long journey of patience, time, and countless moments spent with the canvas.
Measuring 30ร40 inches, this painting found its way to New York City, where the physical original was exhibited at Jutta Gallery, while its digital presence was also featured on a billboard in the Times Square area. ๐๐๐
Iโm deeply grateful to @Jeni_Pepen , @OneLoveArtDAO for giving this painting the opportunity to find its way to New York, and for making it possible for the work to be experienced in both the physical and digital worlds. ๐ค

Real life is playing its usual daily tennis with me this morning, and I'm trying to keep my balance between the balls it sends over the net and the work I have to do to bring bread to the table.
On one side I'm checking the things that happen here, on the other side I'm making sure everything is ok at my mother's house after yesterday's adventure with the water, and on another side, because there is always one more, I'm preparing everything I have to do today, hoping I can go to the studio and shoot something new.
There is something tennis players learn very early: after every shot, wherever the ball sent them, they go back to the center of the court. Coaches call it recovery. Nobody can win standing still in the middle, you win by returning there every single time, a little tired and out of breath, ready for the next ball.
Maybe balance in an ordinary life works the same way, and the calm we all look for is only that short moment when we come back to ourselves after a phone call or a worry, just before the next one arrives.
I'm not sure I'm good at it yet, some days the ball is faster than me, but I keep going back to the center.
