🇺🇦❤️🇧🇪 She came from Belgium to defend Ukraine. When Russia’s full-scale invasion began, Anne-Catherine Magnette—known by the call sign "Ksena"—arrived in Ukraine as a volunteer. Initially, she coordinated humanitarian efforts and assisted with logistics, but soon realized she could contribute much more. This courageous Belgian woman, who has Ukrainian roots, has served with the 37th Marine Brigade since the unit’s formation in 2023. Her decision to support the Ukrainian people by enlisting in the military was a deliberate choice; previously, Anne had regularly participated in humanitarian missions, dedicating her life to providing aid. 💪 Throughout her military service, "Ksena" has held various roles. Today, she is training to operate interceptor drones, finding that she is most effective when working with unmanned systems. Despite having an amputated leg, Anne continues to carry out her missions, driven by an iron-clad determination. "Ksena," we admire your resilience and are deeply grateful for your service. Despite this congenital limb loss and the use of a prosthetic, she chose to enlist and serve on the front lines, pushing past physical limitations to train and operate as an interceptor drone operator.
