Inside the frame, some of the instruments are visible, wrapped in a material similar to foil. Here, the Near-Infrared Camera was just installed, joining two of the other instruments. The Near-Infrared Spectrograph was set to be next.

We can't contain the excitement for @NASAWebb's first full-color images! On Monday, July 11 at 5pm ET (21:00 UTC), President Biden will unveil one of the space telescope's first images of deep space as a preview of what's ahead: go.nasa.gov/3NUQ8Dx
The Webb telescope's primary mirror is inside a facility laying on its side, with engineers in white protective suits. The mirror's two wings that give it its honeycomb shape are not deployed in this image. Its secondary mirror, held by a long boom, is deployed in front of the primary mirror. The primary mirror is made up of multiple hexagonal mirrors assembled into one shape, and are covered in gold.
