Israelis heard three Druse speaking in Arabic in a Tel Aviv club. They beat them so badly all three were hospitalised. Now the Druse are protesting and blocking roads. Not least because all three were serving in the Israeli military. The Druse are drafted in Israel and often end up in elite formations.
It's quite remarkable that they were attacked in hyper liberal Tel Aviv. But it shows you where Israeli youths are politically. The older generation of politicians often refer to Druse as blood brothers. The younger generation is just rabid.

Iraqi authorities are investigating suspected Israeli airstrikes on two weapons depots near Baghdad that took place last week.
The two targeted depots housed Chinese-made air defense systems, likely advanced MANPADS, that had recently been transferred from Iran to Tehran-aligned militias.
Notably, during that period, there was intense Israeli Air Force activity over Syria and Iraq, primarily involving probing operations near Iranian airspace, however, it is possible that some fighter jets also carried out airstrikes in Iraq during these sorties.
The reason for targeting air defense systems is likely to prevent Iran-affiliated militias from posing a threat to IAF aircraft, a precaution that is particularly relevant given that, in the event of an attack on Iran, they would frequently fly through Iraqi airspace.

Currently there are two simultaneous race wars, Turkey vs. China and Japan vs. French leftist/immigrants.
The Japanese 🇯🇵, as you know, are culturally allergic to public disorder. So the Franco-Japanese War kicked off when they saw French accounts cheering on the riots while using anime avatars and Japanese characters in their handles.
They said those anime characters are about virtues such as courage, justice, effort, and friendship, and they shouldn't be associated with torching cars or looting. Basically the message was: “if you need a symbol for destruction, invent your own. Stop culturally appropriating ours for your ugly ends.”
From there it escalated into classical mutual stereotype annihilation. The Japanese didn't hold back, using typical allusions to apes and hounding on their failure to build thriving societies despite being given all the aid and welfare in the world. The French accounts (majority were rocking North African flags) hit back, insulting Japanese for screwing sex dolls and working so hard they commit suicide. It wasn't pretty.
While that was cooking, a separate Turkey vs. China war was already underway. Algerians 🇩🇿 noticed and decided to ride for their “Turkish brothers,” dropping cartoons roasting the Chinese.
The Moroccans 🇲🇦, watching from the sidelines, started laughing and saying "screw the Ummah," telling them they really didn’t want to invite the Chinese to attack them. The Algerian account responded by calling the Moroccan’s sister a whore. This, my friends is what I personally call "fractal racism."
On the surface, you think it's just one undifferentiated “brown Muslim” mass. But when you zoom in, what you get is infinite-resolution tribalism and more divisions of recursive hate. At this magnification, the French Muslim immigrant blob split along Maghrebi lines that few of us outsiders know exist.
French-Algerian accounts volunteering as Turkish proxies then invites Chinese 🇨🇳 online aggression. Which means the Chinese and Japanese (and Koreans 🇰🇷 who joined them), are now united in common cause in mutual contempt for the same people. Two separate race wars are threatening to collapse into one lol.
The internet is so weird and entertaining isn't it.
Where and how else could this have happened? Two sides with the deepest historical hatreds on the planet, and likely a fissure point of the next actual kinetic World War, are briefly aligned.

China Just Found ASML’s Weakest Link — and It’s Not the Machines
ASML’s Biggest Problem Isn’t Export Bans. It’s China’s Yttrium Grip.
Everyone talks about ASML’s amazing chip-making machines like they’re some unbeatable Western advantage. But those machines don’t run on magic. They need special materials, and one of the most important is a fine powder made from yttrium — a rare earth metal.
This powder is used to coat parts inside semiconductor equipment so the harsh gases used in chip production don’t destroy them. Without good coatings, the machines wear out faster, produce more defects, and become more expensive to run. The problem for the West is simple: almost all the high-purity version of this yttrium powder is refined in China.
China has already started using this leverage. When the EU hit Chinese companies with sanctions over the war in Ukraine, China hit back by cutting off a small German company called Sindlhauser Materials. This firm makes specialized materials and coatings used in ASML’s supply chain. It depended heavily on Chinese rare earths. Once China blocked exports to it, the company risked going out of business within months. The EU is now quietly negotiating with Beijing to get the restrictions lifted — a clear sign of how much pressure a single targeted move can create.
This isn’t an accident. Chinese officials have spent years studying Western supply chains in detail. They know which obscure companies actually matter. By tightening export licenses on high-purity yttrium oxide, China can make life difficult for any firm that supplies coatings or parts to ASML and other chip equipment makers. Companies in Germany, Austria, or Japan that might try to replace Sindlhauser face a hard choice: do business with Western equipment makers and risk becoming the next target, or stay quiet and keep access to Chinese materials.
Western alternatives exist on paper — Japanese and Austrian firms can process some yttrium — but they are limited in volume and often still rely on Chinese raw materials. Switching suppliers also takes a long time because chip factories demand extremely clean, tested materials. In the meantime, prices for non-Chinese yttrium have skyrocketed, and delivery delays have already hit equipment makers.
The West has spent years trying to cut China out of advanced chip technology. China is responding in the most practical way possible: controlling the materials those technologies quietly depend on. ASML can keep building its machines, but if the coatings and specialty materials that keep them running become harder to get, the whole system gets slower and more expensive. That’s real leverage, and Beijing has shown it knows exactly where to apply it.

The Saudis have been working with our military one way or another for over 35 years, and then apparently never even developed curiosity about air - land battle, let alone trained to employ it. This shit is embarrassing.
I had a meeting with the head of the Saudi PSYOP branch in Riyadh a bit more than a decade ago. Nobody had spoken to these guys since Desert Storm times, 25 years prior. The first meeting was as cordial as could be. We were brought into their compound, made to park in their VIP garage area inside the compound, spoken to in English, and treated like honored guests.
Ramadan happened. We couldn’t get in touch with them for a month during the summer immediately after they kicked off the war in Yemen. When we were finally able to get a second meeting, we were physically blocked from parking in the same place by armed troops, turned away, made to park on the street where cars were clearly being vandalized, ushered in hastily, spoken to in Arabic only, and were literally yelled at. I had brought an officer with me who had some Arabic skills, so we had an idea what was happening, but only just.
The Colonel kept slapping their PSYOP products down on the conference table in front of me and demanding that I tell them what is wrong with it. If we are so good, we should be able to tell him how to make a better product, right??? This demand was made without us knowing who the target audience was, where the product was being disseminated, or even what the message was at all. It was disrespectful as hell, and clearly done on purpose.
He didn’t know, but I had the resources of an entire MEU available to assist me. This had already been cleared by CENTCOM for my mission. Instead, trying to maintain some semblance of diplomacy, I bit my tongue, offered that I knew the Colonel was a very busy man, stood up and left the meeting.
I would have been over the moon happy combining efforts and working directly with that staff. In fact, that’s what I was trying to accomplish. Instead, I was shouted at to serve the Saudis, and told that I was incapable of doing anything approaching their vaunted skill set. This was after a little more than 5 years of combat deployments taking action against organized transnational terrorism, while the Saudis had yet to accomplish anything in their first combat since Desert Storm.
The Saudis can be spectacularly arrogant as well as spectacularly bad at war simultaneously. I’ve said it before, They internally called the conflict with the Houthis “Desert Storm 2.0” at the outset, because they expected the war to be over in a few weeks, prior to Ramadan in 2015. They are still fighting, and getting their asses kicked, today.

China’s OSINT Wink: We See Your Jammers, Israel
Not Spying, Just Watching: Beijing Maps Israeli EW
Let’s cut through the polite academic wrapping. Chinese scientists publishing “open source intelligence” (OSINT) about Israeli electronic warfare units isn’t just some nerdy research project. It’s Beijing sending a message in plain sight: we can see your EW toys, we can track them, and we don’t need to spy to do it.
Israel loves to flex its Scorpius jammers and spoofers, the crown jewels of its electronic warfare arsenal. These systems can blind radar, scramble GPS, and mess with communications. Normally, Israel counts on secrecy — hide the gear, keep the deployments quiet, and let adversaries guess. But here comes a Chinese university paper saying: “Look, we mapped your EW units using nothing but public data.” That’s not a research finding. That’s a warning shot.
Why the academic cover?
Simple. If China’s military said it outright, Washington and Tel Aviv would scream “espionage.” By running it through universities, Beijing gets plausible deniability. “Hey, we’re just doing science, using open source data anyone can access.” Translation: we’re not spying, but we still know exactly where your jammers are.
The subtext is aimed squarely at Israel: don’t mess with Chinese signals. China has embassies, military assets, and commercial projects scattered across the Middle East. If Israeli EW units start interfering with Chinese communications or GPS near those sites, Beijing wants it clear — they’ll know, they’ll attribute, and they’ll call it out. Publishing the analysis is like putting a surveillance camera in the shop window: “Smile, you’re on candid camera.”
And the U.S. isn’t off the hook either. Washington leans on Israel’s EW capabilities as part of its regional posture. By exposing that these deployments can be tracked with open source methods, China is telling the Pentagon: your spectrum dominance isn’t invisible anymore.
This is classic Chinese signalling — indirect, deniable, but sharp. Instead of a diplomatic protest note, they drop a “scientific paper.” Instead of saying “we’re monitoring your EW,” they say “we just did some OSINT.” The cover story is almost comical: “We’re not spying, we’re just reading the internet.” But the real message is unmistakable: we can see you, we can track you, and we can call you out if you interfere with us.
So don’t be fooled by the academic jargon. This isn’t about advancing science. It’s about Beijing flexing its intelligence muscles while keeping its hands clean. Israel and the U.S. are meant to read between the lines: China has the capability to monitor EW jamming and spoofing near its assets, and it’s politely telling them — don’t even think about it.
