Even when the truth broke after 2011, the response of the Establishment was to refuse to recognise a national pattern and the importation of an ideology which justified rape. Then from 2015 to 2025 the Establishment orchestrated a cover-up involving politicians, the judiciary, and the media. Drawing on court records, official inquiries, internal documents and contemporary reporting, the book argues that the cover-up was not a series of isolated mistakes but a sustained attempt by those with power to leave vulnerable girls as prey for the predators. It argues that the Establishment knowingly imported and shielded the predators and this was why the public was kept from the full picture for so long.
