It’s Clacton-on-Sea. I grew up just a stone’s throw away, and worked as a lackey on trawlers as a kid — it was a fishing town before it became God’s waiting room. And the idea that a fishing town would elect the man who promised so much, and delivered fuck all, is nauseating.
